BRADSHAW, Raymond “Ray” Patric Bradshaw - It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we share the unexpected loss of Raymond “Ray” Patric Bradshaw on August 11th, 2024.
He was a cherished son to Avadna and Earl, a beloved brother to David and Tyrone, adored brother-in-law to Lesley, and a dear uncle to Jaiden, Sabreana, and Tremain.
Ray was also a treasured friend to Judith Collie and to Nicole Blake and her family.
Known for his passion for music and DJ'ing, and his dry wit that never failed to make us laugh, Ray had a big, beautiful heart that shone through his endearing gruff exterior.
He loved his work supporting an underserved community and was admired and respected by his colleagues and clients. Ray will be deeply missed by all those he touched.
Contributions in his honor can be directed to the St. Felix Centre and ALS Canada. A Celebration of Ray’s
Life will be arranged shortly.

BROWN, Edith Brown -
November 26, 1929 - August 14, 2024
Edith Isabel (Davidson) Brown. Our Mom, at the astonishing age of 94 passed away gently in her sleep on August, 14, 2024.
She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Claire Brown.
She is survived by her 4 children - Stan (Lisa), Al (Christine), Janet (John McGeachie), Don (Susanne), 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
After a lifetime devoted to her family, she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and endured that chaos for 7 years with patience and fortitude.
She was blessed to have landed at Fosterbrooke LTC facility where she was treated with dignity, compassion, empathy and love. We couldn't be more grateful for the care that was given to our Mom by this amazing staff.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, neighbour and a long time member of the Kedron Community.
Her ashes will be scattered next to Dad at a later date. If desired, a donation to the Alzheimer's Society or Kedron Church would be appreciated.
Even though Mom was unable to walk or talk for her last few years, she never lost her spirit. She remained a gentle, kind soul to the very end.
Just two weeks ago, when I had her outside for a fresh air visit, I reminded her to tell me if she was cold. At that point, she shivered. I looked at her and said, "Seriously, Mom. It is 29° today. Do you really want another blanket?" She shivered again so I fetched a blanket. And, after wrapping her up, she gave a contented sigh.
Peace at last, Mom.
