Virginia Mujer, 93, of Whitby Ontario, passed away in her sleep on March 28, 2023, in the company of her three sisters and brother-in-law.
Virginia Mujer was a wise and quiet soul and will be missed and remembered by many lives she touched.
Although she preferred to be on the sidelines, she was a pillar of unconditional love and strength as she embraced all of life's challenges and adventures with her sisters by her side.
She never complained and was happy as long as her family were together. Throughout life Virginia gave her absolute all. She was the guardian of many, including her younger sisters and cousins and later helped raise their children, and expected very little in return.
Virginia's family prays for her safe passage into heaven, joining relatives who passed before her with feasts made for laughter.
We want to thank you "Ate" (used in reference to an older female relative out of respect in Tagalog) Virgie for touching our lives with so much patience, trust and selflessness and for showing us pure affection, without a single word. Ate Virgie, everyone you leave in this world is heartbroken, but we are happy that you are reunited with "kapamilya" (family). We will always love and miss you; until we can meet again.
