Bruce spent his life first serving his country in the R.C.A.F. during WW2 as a trained navigator stationed in Alberta and as a career accountant in the position of Comptroller with Fiberglas Canada in Toronto, ON for over 35 years. A confirmed bachelor all his life, Bruce enjoyed golfing, skiing, hunting and fishing.
He was a staunch member of Kingsview United Church for many decades.
Bruce lived his entire life in Oshawa devoted to the care and well-being of his family and friends.
In turn, we give great thanks to his caregiver of many years, Angela. May he rest in peace.

1950 - 2024
On Wednesday, March 20th, 2024, Wieslaw Sarzala loving husband, father and grandfather passed away in the home he shared with the wife he loved dearly.
Wieslaw was born in Poland in 1950.
After many years in communist Poland, he moved to Canada in 1990 with the dream of giving family a better life. He worked throughout his life to make this dream a reality.
When not spending time with the grandchildren he loved, Wieslaw used his creative talents. He loved writing poetry, drawing and painting.
He was strongly involved in the Warsaw Club (Towarzystwo Warzawskie), creating and performing skits and singing songs. He will always be remembered as an outgoing man who go along with everyone he met.
Wieslaw is survived by his children with their spouses, Bartosz (with Aneta) and Paulina (with Mark), and their four grandchildren, Patryk, Natalia, Aleksander and Sebastian.

Bill passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, Ontario on February 10th, 2024 after a sudden turn with his battle against cancer.
His family was by his side. Bill was 82 years old and is survived by Marlene, his life partner of 40 years, children John (Tara), Carrie (Darren) and Scott (Tracy).
Grandpa will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Harrison, Georgia, Marin, Aidan and Hunter. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Jane, Pat, nephew Ian, and predeceased by his sister Judy (Doug) and his parents, Aubrey and Willa.
Bill was born November 20, 1941 in Beaverton Ontario, and in 1956 moved to Markham Ontario where he attended Markham District High School.
In 1965 he wed Carol Hawke, started a family and began a long career with London Life Insurance after which time he began his “Freedom 55” retirement in his most treasured place - ‘Merriland’ on Maple Beach.
Bill was a caretaker by nature; a husband, older brother, father, grandfather and good neighbour. He was always willing to lend a hand and was called upon by many in times of need.
Bill was immensely proud of his grandchildren and attended as many hockey games, dance competitions, and volleyball tournaments as he could. Graduations were a priority and he wanted to be there to celebrate their accomplishments.
The family is planning a celebration of life on June 8th at the Beaverton Curling Club (164 Main St. Beaverton) from 1:00-4:00pm.

William David Douglas Greb, age 79, from Sebringville, Ontario, died late evening on Wednesday, February 7th, 2024 at Hope Street Terrace in Port Hope, Ontario.
He was born on February 24th, 1944 to Douglas Greb and Meadie McKay in Stratford, Ontario.
Bill is survived by his wife Diane Henderson, son Douglas (Beth), daughters Dineane (Matt), Corrie Gregory (Hayden), Lani Greb, and Angie Carter (Al). Also survived by grandchildren Thomas, Steven, Bradley, Carmen, Max, Aaron, Adam, Alan, Brady, Victoria, Jordan (Chrissy), and two great grand children Aubree and Weston.
Survived by sisters Linda Payzant (Doug) and Marilyn Grogan, and the Henderson sisters and brothers-in-law. Pre-deceased by his sister Paula, and mother and father-in-law John and Pearl Henderson.
Bill loved athletics, particularly baseball, hockey, and golf. He enjoyed travelling, boating on the Trent Canal and loved taking pictures of sunsets wherever he went; especially the beautiful sunsets over Lake Huron.
He retired from Ontario Power Generation in 2009. Bill and his wife Diane spent their winters in Florida.
Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone you love and cherish.
He was the loving husband of 59 years to Margaret Coker (Copp).
Beloved father to Ruth Simpson and Larry Coker (Corbet Fawcett).
Devoted grandfather of Miranda Minaker (Quentin) and Emily Simpson, and Great grandfather to William Wayne Minaker.
Predeceased by parents Arthur and Annie, Sisters Marion Budgell (the late Jerry and Barbara Morrison (the late Douglas).
He is survived by siblings Dennis Coker (the late Sharon) Gail Gallent (the late Dale), Brenda Kay (David) and Arthur Coker. Wayne retired from General Motors after 38 years of service.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and the great outdoors. He loved to travel abroad and in his 5th wheel spending many winters in the sunny south.
Special times were spent at his property in Muskoka where he enjoyed ATV’ing with his granddaughters. Always friendly and helpful, he will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family are invited to gather for a celebration of life at Newcastle Funeral Home on Wednesday February 7th from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.
