Debbie has gone to be with her Lord and Savior after a courageous battle with many health issues over the years.
She passed away on Thursday April 5, 2024 at Age Care Samac Long Term Care.
Debbie in her 57th year leaves behind her beloved husband of 38 years Douglas.
Cherished daughter of Margaret Babcock and the late Ronald. Dear sister of John (Jennie), Rhonda (Tek), sister-in -aw of Sandra Corbasson & Greg (Elisa).
Debbie will be lovingly remembered by her many cherished nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Debbie was a loving, compassionate, patient person who was always drawn to anyone needing extra care and her special attention. She was a graduate with Honors from the ECE program at Durham College.
She worked in many day care centers in the Durham Region and was also a lunch room supervisor. She loved her cats throughout the years cherishing their love and comfort.
Debbie was a devoted member of her Church, The Embassy of God, and volunteered there in many areas including child care. She and Doug enjoyed travelling throughout the years.
The family would like to express their sincerest appreciation for the outstanding care and compassion Debbie received at AgeCare Samac LTC by Dr. Wilk and the entire team.

(80) passed peacefully from this life into the Presence of her Lord and Saviour, early on the morning of March 30, 2024.
Doreen grew up in Kirkcaldy, Scotland where she enjoyed riding horses, visiting the sea, going to dances and being with family, including her two sisters, Myra and Jean.
Doreen came to Canada in 1963 where she started a long career in banking.
She married Vic Doucet in October 1965 and they raised two 'beautiful boys', as she always called them, who gave her four grandchildren, of whom she was very proud.
Vic and Doreen celebrated fifty years of marriage just before his passing in 2015.
Doreen is survived by her son, Paul and his wife Kelly and their children, Tre (Anna) and William, and Victor and his wife Angela and their children Emily and Annie.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday April 3rd at Newcastle Fellowship Baptist Church in Newcastle, Ontario.

After a four year battle with cancer, Donna passed away at Uxbridge Hospital on Friday March 29, 2024 at the age of 73 years.
Wife of the late Carl Painter (d.2019).
Mom will always be loved and remembered by daughter, Dianne Cupples and her spouse John, son Jim Painter and his spouse Anna Gill; her grandchildren Ryan, Shawn, and Shannon Cupples; along with her siblings Linda Wagg (Wright), Sharon Wright, Daryl Wright, and Robert Wright.
A graveside ceremony at Whitevale Cemetery will take place at a later date.
The family wishes to thank the team of doctors at Stronach Cancer Centre, in particular Dr. Kassam and Dr. Conrad, Welcome Home Care for their in-home support services, and all the doctors and nurses at Uxbridge Hospital who supported Mom on her journey.

Passed away on March 24, 2024.
He was born in Athens, Greece on January 21, 1947, grew up surrounded by his younger sister and cousins, and his family migrated to Canada when he was 12 years old.
He has worn many hats in his lifetime as a son, nephew, cousin, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-uncle, coworker, and friend.
He worked for the Toronto Police Force, Correctional Services in Toronto East, and at various restaurants On The Danforth, and in Mississauga, most notably, ’Dimitri’s Place’ in Streetsville.
While we think fondly of memories from the past, we miss him already but we know he is in a better place.
We grieve for this loss and the memories to come that he will not be a part of. He is predeceased by his parents, Elias and Anastasia and is survived by his sister Donna Rogerson, children Eli (Dauna) and Anastasia Papakirykos, niece Natalie Gassi (Conlan), granddaughters Dayna, Eva and Justine Papakirykos, grand nephew and nieces, and many cousins.
He will be missed by his friends and family in both Canada and Greece.
We are thankful for the love and support he received throughout his later years, especially from his life-long friend Stavros, cousin Yiannis, both of whom he talked to almost every day and friends from Greece.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Devin Jansma on Monday, March 25, 2024 at the age of 39, where he lived in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Devin leaves behind his mother Margaret Rahm, step father Terry Rahm, son of the late Steven Gilbert, sister Jessie Rahm (Bowen Blonge), his loving partner Kayli Broderick and step daughter Zaffrina.

Devin loved his dogs Buddy and Ava more than anything.

His loving family was with him to ease him through his passing.
Don is survived by his loving wife Marlene, daughters Tracey (Mike) and Andrea (Chris), grandchildren Mercedes (Jean Simon), Maxwell, and Carly, and brother-in-law Stan and nephew Art (Jane).
Don is predeceased by his beloved sister Helen and nephew Larry.
Don relished a long retirement from Ontario Power Generation and recalled his working years fondly.
Post retirement, Don enjoyed working as an usher at the Oshawa Generals games and supporting his team.
Family and friends enjoyed wonderful trips on his boats and RV.
Private family arrangements were carried out according to Don’s established wishes.
