The original self-proclaimed “fat tire flyer”.
Born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, son of John and Dorothy Croxford Of Trenton, Ontario. Oldest of five: Ray(Patricia), Bruce (Murielle), Valerie Hamilton (Richard) and Carol Wade (Mark).
Ken was raised on various Canadian military bases in England, Alberta and Ontario.
Ken found and married Agnes McDonnell from Stratford while working as manager at an A & W restaurant. He was the proud and loving father of two children, Katherine and Joseph (married to Katelyn Badcock) and grandfather of Connor and Charlie who especially appreciated his quirky sense of humour.
He finished high-school as a mature student and attended Carleton University before embarking on a career as a Design and Technology teacher in Toronto for 27 years. After retiring from teaching he started a second career working in bike shops in Toronto and Canmore, Alberta.
Ken discovered cycling in his 30’s, and it became his mission to share his love of biking with everyone he met. He pioneered many cycling programs in the City of Toronto for disadvantaged kids, school groups, adults, commuters and police.
His journey came to an end surrounded by family and comforted by tales of his biking escapades.

With sadness, the family of Kevin J. McCullough announce his peaceful passing on February 24, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with family by his side.
Born in Ajax, Ontario on Christmas Eve (December 24, 1959), son of the late Murray McCullough and Maureen (nee Horner) McCullough.
He is survived by his beloved wife Eleanor (‘Ellie’) Fisk, son Sean (Jaclyn), siblings Ellen, Keith, Jennifer, and (lil) Murray (Laura), stepson Dale (Melissa), and his tail wagging companion Melia.
Kevin grew up on a small farm in north Ajax with his three younger siblings.
During his early years, he was an avid skier and sailor. Later in life, Kevin pursued a fulfilling career at Honda Canada, which enabled him to enjoy his lifelong passion for motorcycles and offroad riding.
Kevin also loved travelling Central America where he’d often be seen sporting his brimmed hat, sunglasses and button-down shirt.
In retirement, he loved working at Mosport, where he would watch the races and the wildlife. At home, he’ll be most remembered walking around in his comfortable moccasins and chatting with the passing neighbours from his garage. Always known to tinker around the garage, house and garden, he was always a helping hand and a guiding figure.
Kevin will always be remembered for his sense of humour, wit, and smile, which he carried with him even throughout his time in hospital and will live on with his family and friends.
A celebration of life will be scheduled in the coming months where we welcome family and friends to share stories, memories and a drink with Kevin.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Scarborough Health Network Foundation, the Lakeridge Health Foundation, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Ken had a kind heart, a welcoming personality, and brought humour into the lives of anyone he met.

Ken’s family is deeply saddened to announce his passing on Thursday February 16th, 2023, from complications arising from a battle with covid.
Ken died peacefully with his daughter by his side.
Ken leaves behind his children Belinda (Brad) and Corey (Darlene); and his grandchildren Jaime, Brandon, Cameron, Brycen and Noah.
Ken was born in Toronto and built a rewarding life full of loving family and friends.
Ken found his first love in the fire department, where he retired a captain after 30 years of service.
Ken met his soul mate shortly after, marrying Brenda in 1965 which resulted in a marriage that lasted 50 years; only ended by her passing in 2015 (though his love never ended). His family is happy in the knowledge that he will finally be reunited with her.
Ken spent his retirement years in two of his favourite places – Stoco, Ontario, and Fort Myers Florida. In a testament to his love of family and friends, he was joined by many as neighbours and visitors in both of these locations.
We know he will be dearly missed by his extended family and friends in the GTA, Tweed, Wilmot Creek, and Poinsettia Park.
The family would like to express their sincere and appreciative thanks to the staff at Lakeridge Health (Oshawa) and the Village of Taunton Mills (Whitby) for the care and support of him during his final years.
Finally, the family would also like to thank all their friends and family for the support and prayers they provided during this difficult time.
