Michael died peacefully at home on May 17, 2024, surrounded by his family.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Éva, and their two children, Sarah (Jac) and Emma (Andrew).
He was a proud grandfather to Noah, Corin, Ethan, Scout, Claire, and Cully.
Michael will also be deeply missed by his sister Marian (Alan) and the extended Perkins and Suslak families in the United Kingdom.
Born in London just before the start of the Second World War, Michael emigrated to Canada in 1968 with Éva and Sarah (and Emma already on the way) to join Ontario Hydro’s new nuclear program at Chalk River, Ontario.
The family moved to Toronto in 1969, where Michael and Éva made lasting friendships that endure to today.
Retired from Ontario Hydro after a 25 year career in nuclear power, Michael spent the next 30 years enjoying his second career as investment portfolio manager for his family and using his engineering skills to prove that anything can be repaired with a bit of duct tape, a spirit level, and a plan.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at The SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE - PICKERING , 1057 Brock Road, Pickering, L1W 3T7.

Teresa passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at The Village of Taunton Mills, Whitby, one week after celebrating her 93rd birthday.
Teresa was born May 11, 1931 in Kingston, Ontario, to Joseph and Josephine (née McBrady) Jordan.
She is predeceased by her parents, her sister Frances (née Jordan) McMinn and her baby brother James Jordan.
Teresa spent most of her life in Durham Region where she attended Whitby High School and worked as a loans officer at CIBC for over 40 years.
She enjoyed her home and took pride in her garden. She was a longtime member and volunteer of St. Gregory’s Church, Oshawa, was a group leader for St. Vincent’s Kitchen and for many years, greatly enjoyed her time spent as a social member of the Oshawa Golf and Country Club.
Her friendly personality and sense of humour made her endearing to so many people, and she was never happier than when spending time with good friends and family whilst enjoying a cold beer.
Teresa is survived by her nephew Jim McMinn and his wife Sharon and their three children, Andrew, Melissa and Jennifer, and her cousin Maggie Dawson and her husband Mike. Teresa will be missed by her great nieces and nephews, family, friends and neighbours.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all the staff at Taunton Mills and the caregivers from Cardinal Nannies for their support and care of Teresa. Born on June 29, 1982, Marie Stephanie McGregor’s arrival was a wave of happiness and strength for her family, filling hearts with gratitude.
Marie brought joy and strength into this world.
Marie will be remembered as an adored and devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend who left an unforgettable mark on those around her.
Marie lived life to the fullest despite any challenges or adversities she faced.
Her unwavering spirit and resilience inspired all who knew her. Throughout her life, Marie touched the hearts of countless people and was fiercely loyal to those she cared about. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
As a mother, Marie was selfless and dedicated, always putting the needs of her precious son first. Zayden was her world, her sense of pride, and her will to thrive and succeed in life each and every day. Marie joined God’s angels suddenly on May 17, 2024.

On Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, Michelle Myatt, age 68, of Blackstock passed suddenly from this world surround by family.
Mick was the loving daughter of the late Wendall and Elizabeth Myatt.
She is survived by her loving brother

She was Past President of the United Church Women at St. Stephens United Church, Oshawa, and was a long-time member of the Rebekah Lodges in Oshawa, Peterborough and Cobourg.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 12 p.m.
