Kaytla Jane (MARSHALL)
August 5, 1992 - September 8, 2022
It’s in great sadness we announce the passing of Kayla Jane Marshall.
Daughter, Sister, Niece, Granddaughter and her most important title ‘Mommy’.
Beloved daughter to Rodney and Amanda.
Brother to Daniel (Emma). Granddaughter to Joan and Jerry and Hillary and Joe. Niece to Darryl and Andrea, Tony and Paula, Mark and Michelle, Tammy and Jolene. Mom to two beautiful boys Kaedan and Mason.
Kayla will always be remembered for her bubbly personality, big smile and her passion for life.
She left an imprint on everyone she met in life.
A small ceremony will be made for close family and friends.

Karl, in his 97th year.
Beloved husband of Paula Elfriede for 73 years.
Loving father of Bruno (Darlene) of Caesarea, Esther (Mikko Vesa) of Newcastle, Angelika Burns (Barry Nutley) of Lindsay, Bill (Valerie) of Bath, and David (Kimberley) of Port Sydney.
Dearly remembered by all his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Brother of Klara Bergant of Pickering, the late Werner Gauweiler, the late Erwin Gauweiler, and the late Ruth MacArthur.
Predeceased by grandson Jason Gauweiler.

Keith was born June 19, 1958 in Oshawa, Ontario to the late Myrna and Lawrence Brown.

Passed away suddenly at home in Beaverton, Ontario on August 27, 2022.
Cherished husband of Joyce (McWilliams).
Loving father of Robyn (Phillip), Tina (Neil) and Harry (Cindy).
Ken will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Brandon (Janelle), Colin (Daisy), Zachary (Jennifer), Jade, Jason, Christy, Faith, and by his great-grandchildren Ariana, Jayce, Berkley, and Keaton.
He will be missed by his nieces, nephews (McWilliams) and friends.

Karen Gayle (Horruzey) Baker
(October 24, 1957 – August 22, 2022)
Passed away suddenly on August 22, 2022, at the young age of 64.
She was the eldest child of Nicholas and Margaret (nee Stobbie).
Karen was an active member in the Scouting movement and within in her community.
Karen was a beloved mother to her only child Ian (Sarah) and a loving Grammy to her two grandchildren Evan and Lorelai.
She was a big sister to Ann and will be missed by her dear family friends the Boltons and Strongitharms.
Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, August 31st from 6 – 8 p.m.
Memorial service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, September 1st at 11 a.m.

Passed away at Lakeridge Health Port Perry on Tuesday August 23rd, 2022 at the young age of 59.
Loved wife and best friend of Rick Hackney for 41 years.

Kathleen Mary “Kay” White
Peacefully on Sunday August 21, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Kay White at the age of 92.
Beloved wife of Albert Edward White for 74 years.
Loved mother of Elizabeth Dalton (the late Kenneth) of Toronto and Jean Davis and her husband Paul of Oshawa.
Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Sean, Jason and his wife Melissa, Justin and his wife Alannah and Annmarie, and by her great grandchildren Corbin, Alyssa and Brandon.
Predeceased by her siblings, Kay was the last of her family.
She will be fondly remembered by all of her many nieces and nephews.
Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East Oshawa with a funeral service in the Chapel on Tuesday August 30, 2022 at 1 pm followed by interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Scarborough.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday August 30 from 12 noon until service time.

Kathleen “Kay” Grace Keirstead-Hansen
1933-2022
After a battle with Heart Disease and Cancer, Kathleen passed away peacefully with family at her home on August 19, 2022, at the age of 89.
Kathleen Black was born in Memramcook, New Brunswick in March 1933.
She married Stanley Alfred Keirstead on December 28, 1950, and moved to Toronto.
Stan passed away, after 25 happy years of marriage, on November 26, 1976. Much of her career was spent as a health care aide at Rosebank Villa and Orchard Village Nursing homes in Pickering, until her retirement in 1998.
Left to carry on her memory are her children: Brenda Lee McKinlay (Christopher), Cindy Perks (Derek), Sharon-Ann Morenz (Terry), Bruce Keirstead (Mary-Ellen), and Penny Valentini (Massimo).
She was the proud grandmother of Rick McKinlay (Jody), Late Rebecca McKinlay (Rick), Caileigh Ward (Simon), Emma Galbraith (Ben),
Caitlyn Morenz, Cameron Morenz, Ben Wenckebach, Jonas Keirstead, and Bryan Valentini. She was also the proud Great Grandmother to Hailey and Madison McKinlay, Brianna and Cody Heuper, Amber Lugg, and Maxwell Ward. And finally proud Great Great Grandmother to Jaxon Hueper.
She loved her gardens and spent many hours tending to them.
Mom enjoyed the wildlife, especially the birds, specifically the cardinal.
For that reason, we are asking that everyone wear a splash of red to honour Mom's beloved cardinal.

Kenneth Ralph DeHart
Surrounded by love, Ken passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on August 17, 2022 at the age of 72 years.
Much loved husband of Sharlene (nee Cain).
Proud dad to Jamie DeHart (Stephanie) and Krystyn Gillingham (Jamie).
Adored Papa of Trinity, Eden, Alexis and Brayden.
Ken is survived by his sisters Barb Wilson (Tim) and Doris DeHart (Rick Peleshok), sisters in law Lenore Traves (Lorne), Sandra Devolin (Don) and Lorie Pearson (Brad Adams). He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and especially his canine companions, Maddie, Otis and Kali.
Ken had simple tastes in life, he loved to garden and cook and could be found multiple times a day with the dogs at the dog park. His greatest joy was his family, and any moment he could spend with them, especially his 4 grandchildren was time well spent.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville & Oshawa, especially the dialysis unit for the care shown to Ken and the family over the past years.
At Ken’s request no funeral will be held. A Celebration of his life will be held at The Whitby Curling Club, 815 Brock Street North Whitby on Saturday September 3rd from 12 – 4 pm.

Passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the age of 34.
Loving mother of Mayson and Keagan.
