In Loving Memory of Keith Trevor Matthews who passed away in his 77th year.

He was a loving and devoted husband to Dorthe.

They were happily married for 56 years.

Keith was also a loving and proud father to Paul (Andrea), Lisa (Rocky) & Keith (Julie).

He was such a proud Grandpa to his "7 grandchildren", Eric, Lucas, Sam, Hannah, James, Ruby & Charlie.

Keith is survived by his Mother, Alice Green and 2 sisters Teresa (Tom), Julia (Ron) & brother Geoff (Darlene).

Also, his Mother-in-Law Vita Nielsen & sister-in-law Karin (Rick), as well as his many amazing nieces & nephews.

Keith loved his home & family more than anything else. He loved to have his family over to visit.

He retired from The Hospital for Sick Children in 2011 and shortly afterwards, Keith started to suffer from dementia.

He was still so happy and proud of the life he created.

He will always be greatly loved and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

It is with great sadness that the family of Kevin Arthur Cahill announces his passing on July 28 2022, at the age of 67.

After a short battle with cancer, and despite the pain, Kevin remained brave and kept us in his heart until the end.

Born to Catherine and Arthur on Dec 10 1954, Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Jeannie, and their children.

He was a proud father of Lisa, Nikki, and Robert.

He cultivated many strong and lasting friendships and family ties.

An avid golfer and curler, he was honest, kind, and loyal.

Kevin's smile, delicious cooking, love for knowledge and facts, and compassion will be dearly missed.

Passed gently on July 22, 2022 in hospital at 83 years old.

A beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, friend.

He is survived by wife of 55 years Mary, children Brian (Carolyn) and Catherine (Hugh), grandchild Elyse, and brother Don (Jeanne) and family.

Pre-deceased by his parents.

Mary was the love of his life. Their home filled with activity, love, laughter, and deeply rooted in their Christian faith.

Ken’s calm, hard working, kind, and good humoured personality was a blessing to all.

He loved spending time with the family that he was so proud of, extended family, and friends from across North America. Ken enjoyed a variety of activities including golf, the family dogs, and travel to HHI, SC for over 30 years.

Alumnus of UofT. Head of the Math Department at Downsview SS, he made a difference in the lives of many.

Chairperson at Oriole-York Mills UC, he later attended Brooklin UC and First Presbyterian HHI, SC.

Suddenly, yet peacefully at Port Perry Hospital on Saturday July 16, 2022 in his 94th year with his nieces Cindy Raamat and Sandy Denby by his side.

Predeceased by his parents Walter and Florence Byford and sisters Joan Evanoff and Doreen Ogden.

Survived by sister Shirley Thompson, and greatly missed by sister-in-law Hilda Evanoff and long time friend and neighbour France Page.

He will also be missed by his other 5 nieces and nephews and their families. Our uncle lived and worked all his life in Toronto.

We would like to thank the staff at Westshore Village Retirement Home, Port Perry for the care and comfort they provided to our uncle for the past year.

As per Uncle Ken’s request, cremation has taken place.

A family grave site service will take place at a later date.

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Kenneth Roocroft.

He passed away peacefully in his 89th year at Lakeridge Health – Ajax Hospital.

Kenneth was the beloved and devoted husband of 68 years to Betty Roocroft.

He is survived by his son and namesake, Kenneth Roocroft Jr. (Patty) and his cherished daughter, Lynne Eibich. His memory and legacy will live on through his grandson James (Nicole) Roocroft; granddaughters Jessica Roocroft, Sarah Eibich (Paul Gerditschke) and Elaina Eibich (Chris Smith); great-grandchildren Lilian, Addilyn, Emma and Amelia.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Edna Kelly and countless other family members in England.

Over the decades Kenneth and his sweetheart Betty could be found gracefully gliding across the dancefloor performing their favourite dance moves including ballroom dancing, the jive and cha-cha.

He enjoyed the game of cricket, reading a good book, and solving Sudoku and crosswords puzzles. Some of his guilty pleasures included cheesies, specifically Cheetos, and giving whisker rubs.

A funeral service will be held on Friday July 15 at SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE - PICKERING , 1057 Brock Road, Pickering at 2:30pm, with a visitation one-hour prior.

Following the service a memorial reception will be held at the funeral home.

Loving father to Emily and Mark. Survived by his brother Steve (Lynda), niece Erin (Steve); predeceased by his parents Ernest and Shirley (nee: Frise), and nephew Thomas John.

Sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

He will be fondly remembered by many at Ontario Power Generation in Darlington (and previously Pickering) for his 33 years of service, and by his neighbours at Wilmot Creek.

It is with sadness and much love in our hearts that we announce the passing of Ken Jefferson at Oak Valley Health Markham on Saturday, May 21, 2022, beloved husband, dad, brother, uncle and friend.

Ken will be lovingly missed by the love of his life Diane, his wife of 51 years.

He was an extremely proud dad to Bruce (predeceased) (Linda), Linda Newman (Jeff) and Lori Ennis (John) and cherished grandpa to Rebekah, Meghan, Ethan, Kayla and Alexa.

Ken is survived by his sisters Ruth Wagg, Marjorie Wilson (Jim), June Harper, Evelyn Campbell and lifelong best friend Garnet Bacon, many nieces and nephews.

Ken was an extremely hard worker. He worked at General Motors for 35 years and farmed raising pigs, cow and growing crops.

Ken was most proud of his family and watching their every accomplishment. Ken will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
