Colton at the age of 5, was the beloved son of Mark and Kaitlyn Morrison.
Best little brother and fishing buddy to Austin and Peyton.
Loved grandson of John and Cindy Morrison, Gayle and Patrick Booth and Geoff Oickle.
Great-grandson to Grace Young, Deborah Mitchell, Janet Davidson, and Pete Donnelly.
Adored nephew of Jennifer and Jamie, and Michelle and Tyler. Cousin to Joshua, Ty, Lucas, and Chloe.
Colton will be greatly missed by his extended family, classmates, teachers, and friends at Mariposa Elementary School.
Colton would always say “get the net”, or “I wanna drive the boat”, he was an avid fisher and loved the outdoors.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Oakwood Arena, 1010 Eldon Rd, Oakwood, ON K0M 2M0, on Saturday, June 24th from 12:00pm until 4:00pm.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cecil Irwin Lamrock on Friday, June 16th, 2023 at the age of 90.
Cecil was the beloved husband of Marion for 63 years, loving father of Elizabeth (James) and Lori (Derek), proud Poppa of Jessica (Anthony), Ryan (Amy), Joshua, Rebecca, Aidan and Melanie, and cherished Great Grandfather of Ellis.
Cecil was a kind, gentle and caring man with a beautiful soul.
Everyone who knew Cecil knew how full of life he was.
He had an infectious laugh and enjoyed talking to people and making friends wherever he went.
In retirement, he was as busy as ever. He was a local councillor in Port Perry for 4 years, was a member of many garden clubs, president of the Port Perry Fair Board and owned his own gardening business.
He loved the Lord, his family, and his church. C
ecil had a great passion for his garden and spent many hours planting, watering, weeding and enjoying the beauty of it. Cecil loved to be surrounded by his family.
He always looked forward to their visits and was so very proud of them all. He will be forever missed.
Visitation will be held at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Road, Whitby on Thursday, June 22nd from 6 pm to 8 pm and on Friday, June 23rd from 11 am to 12pm, followed by a service to celebrate Cecil’s life at 12 pm.

Charles is predeceased by his sister, Jean Ashcroft, his parents, Charles and Edith, and his nephew, Mark.
He will be missed by all who knew him. Charles was born in Liverpool, England. He spent the majority of his career working at General Motors in Oshawa doing machine repairs, primarily in the North plant.
Charles was a private man who enjoyed spending time with close family and friends. As a younger man, Charles was an avid fisherman.
Arrangements with the Wagg Funeral Home 216 Queen Street in Port Perry. A private family service will be held at the Collingwood Cemetery.

80, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on June 1, 2023.
She was born December 19, 1942, in Kirkaldy, Scotland, the daughter of Edward and Janet (Blyth) Page.
Jannette immigrated to Canada with her husband and two infant children on May 10, 1969, seeking a better life.
Jannette had been trained as a hairdresser in Scotland but chose to stay home with her children until the youngest could care for themselves. She re-entered the workforce and worked her way up to a claim adjuster.
Jannette retired in her early 50s and turned to her many passions, including golfing, travelling, knitting and entertaining her family.
In addition to her parents, Jannette was predeceased by her husband/soulmate, Robert McNeill.
Jannette is survived by her children Ewan (Stacey), Alistair (Brenda), and Fiona (Andrew), brother Jack (Jody), grandchildren Brenden, Spencer, Aine, Cole, Madison, Sabrina, Angelo, Liam, Tristin and nephews Andrew, Michael and Christopher.
A small private service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, to inter Jannette. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date in the fall.

Cherished granddad of Evan, Noah, and Brooklyn; and Emily.
Survived by his brother Gerald (late Denise) and predeceased by his siblings Phillip and Carol Edwards (Late Ed).
Survived by his sister-in-law Florence. Dear son of the late Nils and Lucy Engberg.
Will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Cornelia (Corry) Van Schyndel was born June 4, 1930 in Gemert Holland, she passed away May 18, 2023 in Ontario Canada.
Post WWII Corry immigrated from Holland with most of her family to Canada.
There she met and married the love of her life Theo (Ted) Van Schyndel.
They went on to raise a loving family, and enjoyed a beautiful simple, happy life together.
Corry was a loving Wife, Mother, Oma, and Great Grandmother. She was also a talented seamstress.
She was fond of baking for her family, she enjoyed gardening, and relished playing cards with friends and family. Corry loved hockey and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Corry is predeceased by her husband Theo (2001). She is survived by 3 children Tony (Debbie), Terry (Lyn), Connie (Steve), as well as 6 Grandchildren Sarah (Bobby), Colin (Andrea), Adam (Kylie), Katrina (John), Jacob, Nathan.
Corry was blessed to have 7 Great Grandchildren Leah, Jaxon, Lucas, Hailey, Clara, Leo, Brooklyn, with another Great Grandson due in August. Corry is also predeceased by her parents Chris & Maria Jagers as well as siblings Francis, Trudy, Harry, Joanne, John, and Mary.
She is survived by her sister Willy. In 2004, Corry suffered a catastrophic stroke.
She bravely fought the complications of her stroke for almost 19 years, showing us her strength, resilience, and love for her family.
Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday June 4th from 12:30 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 1:30 p.m.

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Craig James Kelly, age 58, of Oshawa, Ontario on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
Now reunited in heaven with his parents Margaret and Bernard, his brother Jerry and loving sister Colleen.
Craig will be forever missed by his son Shawn, and deeply missed by his brother Michael (Michelle), sister Lisa (George) and his favorite nephews and niece Blake, Brennan, Garret, Emma and Elliot.
He will be fondly remembered by his aunts and uncles, the Wood family and his many cousins and friends.

Gary Martin of Bowmanville passed away Monday May 8 at the age of 74 after a courageous battle against cancer.
Gary leaves behind his daughter Rhonda, son-in-law Gary and grandson Spencer of Spruce Grove, AB.
Niece Cindy, and her husband Bryan Lang of Courtice.
His brother Jack, sisters Shirley and Liz as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Gary was predeceased by his parents Albert and Ena and his siblings Mae, Nellie, Bert, Eric, Joyce, and Nancy.
Gary was a retired employee of GM Oshawa and a long-time member of the Legion.
