Passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday September 17, 2023 at the age of 87 years. Loving husband of Nancy Dobbin (Campbell).
Cherished dad of Jeff (Mirella), Sherri (Don) Greig, Wendy, and Pamela (Reg) Gole. Cherished grandpa of Jessica, Julia, Brandan, Krista, Adam, Matthew, Cameron, Isla and Shaefer, and great-grandpa of eleven.
In the tapestry of life, some threads shine brighter than others, and in the heart of our family, Gary was that radiant thread. He was the embodiment of unconditional love, devotion, and unwavering support, a true testament to what it means to be the ultimate family man.
A Celebration Gathering will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 12:00-2:00pm at Low & Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry.
Robert Sidney Benner

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Sidney Benner on September 16, 2023, after 92 years.
He passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Oak Ridge Hospice in Port Perry.
He is predeceased by his soulmate Deborah Jean Benner, his sister Margaret Benner and his brother Kenneth Benner, and survived by his brother John Benner.
Robert will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his cherished children, Phillip (Sharon), Rebecca (Mike), and Jillian (Todd), his grandchildren, Julian, Cameron, Sarah, Katherine, Christopher, Christian, Eric (Joy), Andrew, Alex (Shaylee), and Gianna as well as extended family David Brown, Duncan Lord, and Daryl Marquis.
Robert was born to Sidney Samual and Ettie Eltha Benner on February 11th, 1931 in Orillia, Ontario.
Robert’s life carried him through many adventures and to many places.
Robert’s career as Clinical Administrator for Adolescent Outpatients at Whitby Psychiatric Hospital allowed him to help children that were in distress for many years. His love and kindness for people was unparalleled.
Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Friday September 22nd, 2023 from 6 – 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday September 23rd at 11 am, with visitation from 10 – 11.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Oak Ridges Hospice.
Ray George Dawson

Passed away at Bickle Centre Toronto on Thursday September 14, 2023.
Predeceased by his parents Russ and Agnes Dawson.
Ray was the cherished husband of Judy for 46 years. Loving dad of Matthew (Cheryl), and Shirley (Mark).
Special grandpa of Liam and Jack. Brother of Ed (Jeanne), Fred (Mary), Gord (Sharon), Bill (Dianna), Bob (Carolyn), and Roy (Carol).
He will be remembered by his many nieces, nephew’s extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Mangan Funeral Home Beaverton, on Wednesday September 20th from 2-4P.M and 6-8P.M.
Funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home chapel on Thursday September 21st at 1:00 P.M. Interment to follow at Stone Church Cemetery.

It's with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving Father and Grandfather.
Ralph passed peacefully in Toronto on Monday, September 11th, 2023, at Michael Garron Hospital.
He was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Carol, his parents Neville and Vera, and his brother Lance.
Beloved Father of Ramona and Lisa, Grandpa to Kirsten, and a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Ralph will be dearly missed by all his family and friends in Canada and Barbados.
Ralph was a charismatic, kind, and witty man who made anyone he met feel at ease and made them laugh. Everyone who knew him truly loved him.
He will be in our hearts forever.

Loving father of Susan Arsenault (Gord), and predeceased by his son Danny Joseph.

Survived by his siblings Ken (Muriel), late Carl (Helen), Diane Hayes (late Bill) and Linda Haskin (late John).
Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. At RJ's request there will be no funeral service.

Richard was predeceased by his loving wife Margot in 2017.

Devoted Opa of Lynsey, Bradley, Sarah, Chantel, Jennifer, Tyler and Amy and great Opa of 10.

Robert “Bob” Edgar

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather, Robert Lloyd Edgar on Thursday August 31, 2023 in his 89th year.
He has gone to be with his beloved late wife of 52 years, Ila Grace (nee:Crago), who left us in 2008.
Also his son Wayne Lloyd Edgar who departed us in 2009.
He is survived by his children Karen (Ron) Yourth, Robert Edgar Jr, Deborah (Steve) Faryna, and Daniel (Christine) Edgar.
His 9 grandchildren, his 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Also remembered by his surviving brothers, sister, friends and extended family at Cedarcroft Place Retirement Residence.
He retired from General Motors, and loved working in his garden, always enjoyed a good game of bowling, and playing the harmonica for all kinds of folks.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cedarcroft Place, for the fun loving amazing care they offered him in his remaining years.
Visitation will take place on Friday September 8th, 2023 at THORNTON CEMETERY and FUNERAL CENTRE, (1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, 905-579-6787) from 11 am until 1pm with burial to follow.

Robert P. “Bob” Hegadorn

Peacefully passed away at home on August 31, 2023, in his 100th year.
Predeceased by his first wife Elizabeth (1973) and his second wife Louise (2010).
Beloved father of Robert C. Hegadorn, Deborah Anderson (Kevin), Frank Briggs (Lana), and Barry Briggs (Mary).
Loving grandfather of Matthew Thompson (Natasha), Patrick Thompson (Madison), Maxwell Briggs, and Samuel Briggs. Bob will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
Bob reluctantly retired from General Motors in 1989, after many years of dedicated service.
He served the community for four decades with the Rotary Club, enjoyed gardening, baking, and always had a cup of tea at hand. Bob was a collector of all things, and a devoted lover of animals
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment Union Cemetery.
