Cherished Nonno of Evan and Gia. Dear Brother of Aurelio (Petrina), the late Angelo (Olga), Antonio (Lena), and Teresa (The late Giovanni). Brother-in-law of the late Tommaso (the late Linda) and Enzo (Antonietta).
He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. Enzo worked for many years as a mechanic in his fully equipped home garage fixing cars for friends and family.
He loved the accordion and enjoyed polkas and traditional Italian music. In fact, the Polka King, Walter Ostanek played at Enzo and Maria’s 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration. His love for his wife, 2 children, his 2 grandchildren, and his entire family was evident in his smile and his laughter when he was in their presence.
He spent the final years of his life valiantly battling his illness with his incredible caregiver, his wife, Maria Teresa, always by his side.

Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa, on Monday November 14th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday November 15th at 10:30am at St. Mary of The People Catholic Church in Oshawa. Entombment will follow in Whitby.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Yorke, who passed away peacefully in his 78th year at Lakeridge Health Hospital in Oshawa on November 06, 2022.
Endearing Husband to Norma, Loving Father to Samantha, Tim (Candice) and Joe and Proud Grandfather to Nathaniel, his pride and joy.
Bruce was an avid coin collector and History channel enthusiast.
He enjoyed the simple things in life; and spent his time during retirement as a bus driver for children with disabilities.
Now reunited with his Parents, Harry and Hazel and Siblings, Elma, Ruby, Isobel, Mary and Bobby. Survived by his brother Ken (Velma).
Bruce will be deeply missed by all of his extended Family and Friends.

Passed away at his home on October 25, 2022, at the age of 94.
Predeceased by his loving wife Betty (Goodall).
He was a loving father of Nancy Higgins and Patricia Mellean (Kevin) and grandfather of Jason Jones (Daniela) and Paul Jones (Daniela).
His two great grandchildren are Logan and Maximo Jones.
Eugene was predeceased four brothers and a sister.
Eugene will be forever remembered by many nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends. Eugene enjoyed going to the cottage, boating, and sledding.
He also had a passion for hunting, fishing, and hockey.
For thirty-four years, he was employed at the Oshawa Fire Department.
A celebration of Eugene's life will be held at THORNTON CEMETERY and FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road, 905-579-6787) on Tuesday, December 20 from 12 noon - 2 p.m.
Donations will be gratefully accepted for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

He had his Earl Brown Disc Jockey Service, employing five DJs as well as himself, for 35 years.
Playing at family celebrations and corporate and club dances.
His favourite of all his enterprises were the years he concentrated on his magic as a Magician at The Magic Car, and for children’s parties and schools, as wells as for adults during business functions.
He worked at General Printers, Ontario Motor League, Ontario Motor Sales, and Sears.

Beloved husband of Jesuina. Loving father of Paulo (Helena).
Devoted grandfather of Paulo Jr. (Natasha), Jesse, Chantel (Ryan), and Leighton and great-grandfather of Alexa, Kyra, Kalisse, Nia, Avyn, and Selina.
Emidio was an avid stamp collector and was known by many as Sergeant Silva, from his time in the Portuguese Army.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
