Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday May 19th, 2022 at 65 years of age.
Beloved wife of Dom for 42 years.
Loving mother of Bryan and his wife Katie. Cherished Nana of Benjamin, Beckett and Grayson.
Dear sister of Heather, Wendy, Kris, Mike and Diane.
Karol will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME , 847 King Street West, Oshawa (289-204-3327) on Friday May 27th from 12:30 p.m. until Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m.

Karin Grete (Von Minden) Schlatter
(April 12, 1943 - May 13, 2022)
Passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens – Chatham at the age of 79.
Beloved wife of the late Otto Fischer and Wilhelm Schlatter.
She will be greatly missed by her children Roxanne Durrant (Paul), Ula Sutton, Tony Fischer (Kathy) and Richard Fischer (Kandis).
Karin will be missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren and by her siblings Christa Wonnacott and Manfred Von Minden.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Riverview Gardens for their excellent care for Karin.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at her home at the age of 50.
Loving mother of Ashley (Andrew), Jaimie, Maddison and Cody.
Cherished grandmother of Lillian, Benjamin and Amelia.
Dear sister of Lori (Tony) and aunt of Marshall, Tori, Owen and Bentley.
Predeceased by her parents Larry and Deanna and her beloved dog, Patches.
Survived by her best furfriend Tuuji.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 10-11 a.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 11 a.m.
Interment Little Lake Cemetery, Peterborough.

Kaj Edmund Larsen
(August 2, 1941 - May 2, 2022)
Peacefully with family by his side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Beloved husband of Dora Jean (nee Woodward) for 46 years.
Loving father of Heidi (Mike Davies), Heintje “Chris”, Ken (Ivy), D’Jesse, and Kim (Wendy).
Cherished grandfather of Kyle, Eric, Crystal, and Jasmine.
Kaj will also be missed by his beloved Yorkie-cross rescue dog Charlie Brown, as well as all his friends in the community and his family in both Denmark and Canada.
As per Kaj’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Kenneth Laverne Rutter Kingsley
Laverne went Home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Sunday April 24, 2022.
Laverne was born at the home of his grandparents William and Mabel Rutter, in Picton on Sunday July 2, 1933.
He was the son of the late William and Cathlene Kingsley.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 66 years, Georgie.
He was a loving father to his children Heather Weidmark (Vince), Helen Meenan (John), Alan (Susan) and Earl (Tracy).
He always enjoyed seeing all his grandchildren Keith, Craig, Krista, Graham, Allison, Desiree and Heather Ann and his great grandchildren Brooke, Brayden, Coleton, Samantha, Hailey, Maddison, Hayden, Nash, Gideon and Kenton. He is survived by his brother Ross (Sheila) of Petawawa.
Laverne was predeceased by his sisters Mildred and Kathryn and brother Robert and George.
Funeral visitation at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville on Thursday April 28th from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm. A Private Family funeral will be held. Interment Orono.

Kurt “John” Hoerster
Passed away peacefully at his home on April 9, 2022, at the age of 79.
Loving father of Kurt (predeceased), Sherry and son-in-law, Dan; beloved Opa of Cameron and Mitchell.
John also leaves behind sisters, Gabby and Ursula as well as his nieces Loretta, Monica and Maria.
John will be sadly missed by his "coffee buddies" and good friends; Sal, Vlado and John.
John loved gardening and would spend many hours over the spring and summer looking after "Opa's Garden" at Sherry and Dan's house.
He loved the roses and other plants and took great pride when they would start to bloom and fill the yard with all the joyful colours of summer.
A Remembrance of John's Life will be held at a later date.

October 3rd, 1947 - April 4th, 2022
Passed away, with her daughter, Amanda, by her side on April 4, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, in her 75th year.
Beloved wife of the late Donald.
Devoted mother of Amanda and her husband Andre Langeveldt.
Cherished Nan of Eden-Rose and Neve-Lyn.
Pat will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Age ninety-nine. Passed away peacefully on Monday, April 4, 2022 after a lengthy illness.
Wife of the late Robert Topping, she is survived by son Keith and daughter-in-law Judy.
She also leaves behind a nephew, Stephen Redman.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Abbeylawn Manor where she resided prior to her recent hospitalization.
There will be a private visitation followed by a burial service at a later date in Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec.

Kathleen Chalk
It is with profound sadness that we announce that Kathy Chalk passed away unexpectedly with family by her side on March 28, 2022 at the age of 64 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Katelan (Kyle) and Wesley (Lindsay); her grandchildren, Karalynn and Benjamin; her brother, Kevin; her sisters, Karen (Paul) and Kerri (Jim); as well as her large extended family and many beloved friends.
Kathy was a strong, outgoing woman with an irresistible sense of humour. She was a loving mother, grandma, and friend.
She will be dearly missed by everyone that knew her.A visitation will be held at Mount Lawn Funeral Home in Whitby on April 8 starting at 11am, followed by a memorial service at 1pm.

With profound sadness our family announces the peaceful passing of our father, at home on Friday March 25th, 2022.
Ken was the son of the late Harvey and Annie Nixon.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Mary, and 12 brothers and sisters.
Forever loved and cherished by his children Carol Kemlo (Len), Bob Nixon (Cheryl), Nancy Nixon (Steve Fogg), Randy Nixon (Jackie), Beth Roblin (Steve) and Heather Nixon.
Proud and loving grandfather to Matt Kemlo, Chris Kemlo (J.J.), Rob Nixon (Kaitlyn), Ryan Nixon (Breanna), Lisa Fogg, Caity Fogg (Joe), Lauren Nixon (Emily), Grant Nixon (Alisha), Kyle Koetje, Sammy Botell (Jake) and Jordan Powers. June 2nd, 1945 - March 22nd, 2022
Peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, March 22 at his home in Blackstock Kevin passed in his 77th year.
Devoted Dub to daughter Julie (John).
Loving husband to Joan Reid and the late Marian (Hickey).
Kevin was predeceased by his parents Wilfrid and Mary (Kiley), stepmother Lillian and dear brother Michael “Mickey“ Bolger.
Kevin will be so very missed by all who knew him from his family, nieces and nephews to his many chums at General Motors where he worked as a millwright for 32 years.
He was salt of the earth and a true gentleman.
Visitation will take place, Sunday April 3, 2022 11-4 at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King St. E., Oshawa.
