Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Sunday April 16th, 2023 in his 52nd year.
Survived by his loving wife Colleen and his son Mason.
Predeceased by his mother Linda. Cherished son of Steven and son-in-law to Paul and Carol.
Dear brother of Melissa (Joe).
Fondly remembered by his nephew Michael, niece Madelyn and his extended family.
Chris enjoyed watching sports, listening to music, spending time up north, playing horseshoes and caring for his exotic birds.

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Port Perry on Thursday April 20, 2023 in her 75th year, surrounded by her family.
Pre-deceased by her parents Walter (1995) and Gladys (1994) Farmer.
Carol is survived by her loving husband Thom Gettinby. Cherished mother of Bryon (Lisa), and Blair (Kerri). Special Grandmother of Vanessa, Carson, Victoria, Carlee, and Connor. Great-Grandmother of Lillian and Isabelle. Sister of Elaine (Blane) Allardyce.
She will be remembered by her niece Jennifer, nephew Matthew, and her long time friend Norma Wilks Warda of Victoria B.C.
The family would like to thank all of the staff of Lakeridge Health Port Perry for their caring and compassionate care.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at a later date.

Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, April 17, 2023 at his home in Waterloo, at the age of 82.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Barbara and his son Jarek.
Devoted father of Greg (Dorothy).
Cherished grandfather of Kacper, Weronika, Izzy, and Alex and great-grandfather of Maks.
Dear brother of Roman and brother-in-law of Krystyna, Hanna, and Izabela. Predeceased by his brothers Kazik and Waldekc.
Chester was born and raised in Poland, where he worked as a professional truck driver, including driving bucket trucks for the hydro company. He immigrated to Canada in the late 1970s, settled with his family and made many friends in Oshawa.
Chester became very skilled in construction and had the “golden touch” with all final finishing repairs.
After retirement, together with his wife, he moved to Waterloo to be closer to his son and his family. He loved cooking and took joy in making meals for the grandchildren as well as being an avid gardener. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 2-4 & 6:30-8:30 p.m. with prayers at 7 p.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Mass in Polish will be held on Monday, April 24,, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, which can be viewed by clicking the Live button on the church’s YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/@st.hedwigparishoshawa8333. Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

Cam was a well known consulting geologist who discovered the Caribou Mine in New Brunswick, and travelled to many countries for his work.
He was born on a 1000 acre wheat farm outside Assiniboia, Saskatchewan.
He attended the University of Saskatchewan, University of British Columbia, and received his PhD from Harvard University.
In his latter years he enjoyed playing the stock market, and visiting his daughters in Tucson, Arizona. Passed away peacefully in his retirement home at the age of 96.
Cherished son of the late Oliver (Devon, England) and Alice (Kyle) Cheriton.
Beloved ex-husband of Betty (nee: Brown) for many decades. Devoted father of Ingrid Trebisky (Tom), and Patricia Cheriton.
Fun-loving grandfather of Alexander (Stephany- Audrey and Laia), and Paul Trebisky. Last surviving brother of Ross (Muriel), Olive (Del) Miller, Lorna (Michael) Garrett, and Joyce (Bob) Peterson.
Cam will be dearly missed by his family, and friends.

Almost a year after her diagnosis of ALS, Coral passed peacefully to be with Jesus with her family by her side on Wednesday April 12 in her 80th year.

Coral retired from Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital giving 20 plus years of service.
Along with being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother she loved to spend her time gardening and decorating at her beautiful home in Buckhorn. Also visiting her home in New Richmond and spending her winters in Florida.
Special thank you to Peterborough Hospice nurses and staff along with Dr. Mallory for taking such good care of Coral in her final days.

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Christine Bernice Carmichael, age 71, of Oshawa, Ontario on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.
Christine was born in Oshawa to the Late Mathew and Anela Masternak of Warsaw, Poland.
Predeceased by her caring husband Richard Carmichael (1985) who shared great adventures in their early years, and her loving Partner Harvey Barber (2016) who always knew how to make her laugh.
The heart and soul of her family, she was an amazing sister to Jenny and Matthew, incredible aunt, and a loyal friend. As a devoted Aunt, Christine was especially fond of her 2 nieces Amanda and Jessica (Joshua) who knew her as ChaCha.
Known for her tender heart, gracious charm and strength, Christine leaves behind her one and only Nephew Christopher (Jen) whom she adored with all her heart.
Her positive attitude and comforting presence will be missed by all that know her. Her love for her family was immeasurable.
An avid knitter, seamstress, quilter and crafter, Christine enjoyed making blankets, scarfs, and other keepsakes for her family and friends; she even made her own wedding dress.
She loved cooking and as a master in the kitchen, she was the gracious host of innumerable Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter celebrations, plus any other opportunities to get together for her family. She also kept an incredible garden, which was featured in Oshawa’s Communities in Bloom.
She has always been, and will continue to be, a pillar of strength for her family. Her humour, generous ways, gentle smile, and kindness will live on forever through all of us. The family appreciates all of your prayers and kind gestures during this difficult time.
A visitation for Christine will be held Friday, April 21, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL , 1587 Hwy #2, Courtice, Ontario.
A funeral service will occur in the chapel at 10:30 AM. A burial will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. A reception will occur following the interment at the funeral home.

Colin passed peacefully away at Oak Ridges Hospice, Port Perry with his family by his side.
Colin is predeceased by his parents Jessie (Saunders) Lane and Ira Lane. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Maureen, son Kelby, sisters Kimberly Lane, Corinne Collins, nieces Natasha (Robert) and Megan, nephew Clayton (Suzanne) and four great nephews James, William, Cameron and Grayson.
Mother and father in-law Sarah and Malcolm Rogers, sister in-law Angela (Edward) along with a large circle of Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.
Colin was born on May 8, 1965 to Jessie and Ira Lane of Hare Bay, NL, where he lived along with his sister Kimberly until the age of 17, when he moved to Ontario and started working.
Colin met the love of his life in May 1996 and got married July 3, 2004. Together they had one son Kelby, who was his pride and joy.
Shortly after purchasing their first home in Whitby where they currently reside.
Colin looked forward to his trips back home to Newfoundland which included much needed family time with those he didn't see often. If Colin wasn't working, he could be found fishing with his son Kelby. While keeping up with the newest and best fishing gear on the market.
Colin was a friend to everyone he met, he will be missed dearly and his memories will remain forever in our hearts.
