Proud Guardsman in the Canadian Army. Passed away at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa after a short illness at age 83.
Loved husband of Ada Holwell (nee. Snow).
Beloved Dad of Wanda Brown, and her partner Dave Clark.
Loving Poppy of Paige, Rachel (Trevor), Connor, extended grandchildren Holly and Ryan, and of great-grandbaby Rocco.
Survived by siblings Lloyd, Geoff (Maureen), and Ginny.
Art will be remembered by his nephew Andrew Rodgers, many other nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Alan Charles Littley
September 23, 1956 - March 5, 2023
It is with profound sadness our family announces the passing of Alan Littley.
He passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the age of 66, following a short battle with cancer.
Al was born on September 23, 1956 to John “Jack” Stanley Littley and Frances Pauline Littley in Toronto.
Much loved father of Breanne (Cole) and Jonelle (Will). Grandfather of Luca.
Dearly missed by his brother Jim (Rose) and sister Janet. Predeceased by his sister Vicky and brothers John and David.
Fondly remembered by his nephew and nieces: Joseph, Rochelle and Ceileigh and his many great nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by Bonnie Littley. Al is also dearly missed by many friends.
In 2009, Al retired from the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station after a 30-year career where he worked as a Control Room Shift Operating Supervisor.
In honour of Al’s wishes, simple arrangements have been made and a celebration of his life will be held at The Lake House (600 Liverpool Rd, Pickering, ON L1W 1P9), on Thursday March 16th from 1pm-4pm. Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available.
If desired, memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to The Kidney Foundation of Canada and the Cancer Society of Canada.
Al “Tex” McQuinn
Passed away peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on March 5th, 2023 at the age of 80 years.
Loving husband of Marg Page (nee Goyne). Much loved father of Sharon Filion, Barry McQuinn, Carrie Steadman (Eric), Cindy Renton, Brett McQuinn, Shane McQuinn (Tammy) and step father of Derek Page (Dallas) and Richard Page.
He will be lovingly remembered by his 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Dear brother of Bonita Walter, Brian McQuinn and the late Jim McQuinn.
Predeceased by his parents Chester & Violet McQuinn.
Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville on Saturday March 18th, 2023 from 12 – 1 pm. Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 pm. Private Interment.

Arthur “Butch” Hockett
1941 - 2023
Passed away peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital on February 27th, 2023.
Beloved husband of the late Sheilagh.
Much loved father of Elaine (Andrew) Kirkwood of Sarnia, Sharlene (Michael) Brooks of Bowmanville, Ellen (Dave) Oak of Whitby and Arthur William Hockett (Michelle) of New York.
Cherished Grandpa of Adam, Valerie, Scott, Jacob, Lucas and Arthur and Great-grandpa of Sydney. He is survived by his siblings Stan Hockett, Gloria Vanson and Sandra MacCormack.
Predeceased by his sister Helen Jones. Dear brother in law of Marie McDonald. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends, especially his life long friends Vern & Joyce Iverson.
At Art’s request no service is being held. Spring interment will be held at Bethesda Cemetery.
Memorial Donations may be made to Northumberland Hills Hospital, who took amazing care of him during his stay.
Audrey Florence Curzon
November 5, 1924 - February 26, 2023
Passed away peacefully at Oak Terrace, Orillia on Sunday February 26, 2023.
Predeceased by her husband Mark Curzon.
Cherished grandmother of Bill (Tammy), Angie (Glen), Robert (Deb), and Matt.
She will be remembered by her extended family and friends.

Andrew “Allan” Bailey
December 24, 1941 - February 27, 2023
Allan passed away on February 27, 2023 at the Butternut Manor Retirement Home, Uxbridge in his 82nd year.
Predeceased by his wife Brenda, parents Bruce and Hilda Bailey.
He is survived by several cousins.
Allan farmed most of his life near Epsom, as well as being a crossing guard for the Township of Uxbridge for over 20 years.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the Butternut Manor Staff for their care and compassion given to Allan over the many years.

Anne Elizabeth Coombs
MAY 8, 1950 – FEBRUARY 27, 2023
Passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 27th, 2023 at the age of 72.
Loving mother of Michael (Marsha).
Cherished grandmother of Kiera, Sydney and Ariana.
Anne loved her career of being a teacher.
She also was the family historian and enjoyed researching her family history.
In her younger years, Anne spent quality time travelling with Michael and her mother, especially anywhere there was water.
Anne will be missed by anyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday March 4, 2023 at 9:30am followed by a memorial service at 10:30am in our chapel.

Al K. Pilkey
It is with heartfelt sadness that we say farewell to Al who left us on February 24th, in his 90th year, after living a long and happy life.
He was a proud member of the Oddfellows Lodge Brougham and volunteer with the Brougham Fire Department.
Al and Lou started Pilkey Glass in 1967, which is still a thriving business today.
Beloved husband of 38 years to Jean. Devoted father to Debbie (Brian) and Heather (John). Beloved grandfather to Michelle (Anthony), Arizona and Sequoia; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Beloved stepfather to Stephanie, Jason (Tracy), Nick (Lisa); and 7 step-grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Al was predeceased by his parents Mabel and Russ Pilkey; brother Earl (Shirley) Pilkey; son-in-law Chris Rouble; and wife Louise Pilkey.
A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to thank the Nursing Staff and Dr. Gad, for their care and compassion shown to Al at this time.

December 21, 1946 - February 23, 2023
Passed away on February 23, 2023, at Toronto Western Hospital, in his 77th year.
Predeceased by his mother and father Jose Pinto and Noemia (nee: Espiga) Pinto, as well as his brother Jose Manuel Pinto, and sister Maria Noemia Correiro.
Survived by his cousins Victor and Jack Silva and their families.

Auke Vandermeer
It is with peace in our hearts that the Lord took home his faithful child, Auke Vandermeer, on February 19th, 2023 at the age of 89 years.
He is remembered for his hearty laugh, his big infectious smile and his loving bear hugs. He is survived by Corry, his devoted wife of 61 years.
