It is with profound sadness our family announces the passing of Alan Littley.

He passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the age of 66, following a short battle with cancer.

Al was born on September 23, 1956 to John “Jack” Stanley Littley and Frances Pauline Littley in Toronto.

Much loved father of Breanne (Cole) and Jonelle (Will). Grandfather of Luca.

Dearly missed by his brother Jim (Rose) and sister Janet. Predeceased by his sister Vicky and brothers John and David.

Fondly remembered by his nephew and nieces: Joseph, Rochelle and Ceileigh and his many great nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by Bonnie Littley. Al is also dearly missed by many friends.

In 2009, Al retired from the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station after a 30-year career where he worked as a Control Room Shift Operating Supervisor.

In honour of Al’s wishes, simple arrangements have been made and a celebration of his life will be held at The Lake House (600 Liverpool Rd, Pickering, ON L1W 1P9), on Thursday March 16th from 1pm-4pm. Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available.

If desired, memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to The Kidney Foundation of Canada and the Cancer Society of Canada.

Loving husband of Marg Page (nee Goyne). Much loved father of Sharon Filion, Barry McQuinn, Carrie Steadman (Eric), Cindy Renton, Brett McQuinn, Shane McQuinn (Tammy) and step father of Derek Page (Dallas) and Richard Page.

He will be lovingly remembered by his 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by his parents Chester & Violet McQuinn.

Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville on Saturday March 18th, 2023 from 12 – 1 pm. Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 pm. Private Interment.

Predeceased by his sister Helen Jones. Dear brother in law of Marie McDonald. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends, especially his life long friends Vern & Joyce Iverson.

At Art’s request no service is being held. Spring interment will be held at Bethesda Cemetery.

He is survived by several cousins.

Allan farmed most of his life near Epsom, as well as being a crossing guard for the Township of Uxbridge for over 20 years.

In her younger years, Anne spent quality time travelling with Michael and her mother, especially anywhere there was water.

Anne will be missed by anyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

It is with heartfelt sadness that we say farewell to Al who left us on February 24th, in his 90th year, after living a long and happy life.

He was a proud member of the Oddfellows Lodge Brougham and volunteer with the Brougham Fire Department.

Al and Lou started Pilkey Glass in 1967, which is still a thriving business today.

Beloved husband of 38 years to Jean. Devoted father to Debbie (Brian) and Heather (John). Beloved grandfather to Michelle (Anthony), Arizona and Sequoia; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Beloved stepfather to Stephanie, Jason (Tracy), Nick (Lisa); and 7 step-grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Al was predeceased by his parents Mabel and Russ Pilkey; brother Earl (Shirley) Pilkey; son-in-law Chris Rouble; and wife Louise Pilkey.
