After a short illness, Agnes passed away with her husband by her side on March 15, 2023 at the age of 58.

Agnes was the beloved wife of Kelly for 32 years and is survived by her brother and sister.

She was an incredibly giving person and always there to lend a helping hand to those who needed it.

Friends are welcomed to gather for a time of remembrance at W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 1 – 3pm.

Great Nonna of Westley. Dear sister of the late Mattea, and Angelina (Guerino). Cherished Aunt of Irena (Pino), Michael (Anna), Sonja (Teo), and Guido and their families.

Andriena loved to socialize, dance, sing and entertain. Andreina and Marino travelled to Lake Simcoe to their boat housed in a covered boat slip, much like going to a parked trailer, it was their escape. She only boated on Lake Simcoe, swam, ate and fished.

Andreina and Marino loved to travel and enjoyed many escapes to their condo in Treasure Island, many trips to various resorts in Cuba and trips home to Unije, Croatia.

Andreina and Marino were faced with the hardship of having a son with many health and physical challenges, she never faltered in her love and care for their son.

She was loved and respected by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.

Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa, on Saturday March 18th, 2023, from 12:00 – 1:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1:00pm. Entombment will follow.

Anita enjoyed spending her time gardening, cooking, colouring, and special time with family and friends.

Anita came from Vienna as a new immigrant for a better life. She took on many jobs to support her family, she was very handy and did not shy away from any task.

Anita will be deeply missed by her sister Ingrid, her nephew Andreas and former spouse and friend Otto.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of Anita’s life at a later date.

Alena (Al) passed away peacefully with family by her side at Extendicare Brampton.

Al was predeceased by her husband Thomas Rundle (2015), parents Karel and Gwendoline Rybka (nee Conway) and brother Karel.

Al was a kind soul and will be missed by her sister Ann Bracken (England), her sister-in-law Gay Rybka, and her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Her love of Lake Simcoe brought her great peace and pleasure.

Al enjoyed much time on golf courses, curling rinks, playing bridge and gardening.

A heartfelt thanks to Cardinal Nannies (Margo) and the staff at Extendicare who helped to make Al’s final days peaceful and comfortable.

At Al’s request, there will be no funeral service and cremation has taken place.

Adriaan Moelker began life April 16, 1930 in Zeeland, the Netherlands.

He immigrated with his parents and most of his siblings to Canada in the early 50's, settling in the Trenton area.

It was here he met and married Johanna, living for a few years in a rented house on a farm.

They moved to Bowmanville where Adriaan got a job as a maintenance man at the local foundry. Until his retirement, he faithfully walked to his place of work every morning at 6:30 to begin his 7:00 shift.

Shortly after retirement they moved to Durham Homes in Whitby to begin a new journey in their apartment. His wife passed away in November 2009 and Adriaan continued living in Whitby for a few more years until moving to Hamilton to be close to his son.

Adriaan was a friendly man, who loved his garden, sharing life with his wife, camping, and simply enjoying God's creation. He lived with an intense faith that never waivered.

Adriaan is predeceased by his wife Johanna, and daughter Jean; and survived by his son Len; grandchildren and their spouses, Lisa, Mark (Carrie), Ivan, Marleah (Tim), Laura (Chris), Justine, David (Ang); and thirteen great grandchildren. Well done oh good and faithful servant.

A private burial is being held in Bowmanville on Thursday, March 16, visitation is being held Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 at Mount Hope Community Christian Reformed Church, and a memorial service is being held Friday morning at 11:00 at Mount Hope Community Christian Reformed Church.

Refreshments will be provided after the service. The memorial service will be live streamed, accessible through the Mount Hope Community Christian Reformed Church website (https://mounthopecommunitycrc.org/).

It is with profound sadness our family announces the passing of Alan Littley.

He passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the age of 66, following a short battle with cancer.

Al was born on September 23, 1956 to John “Jack” Stanley Littley and Frances Pauline Littley in Toronto.

Much loved father of Breanne (Cole) and Jonelle (Will). Grandfather of Luca.

Dearly missed by his brother Jim (Rose) and sister Janet. Predeceased by his sister Vicky and brothers John and David.

Fondly remembered by his nephew and nieces: Joseph, Rochelle and Ceileigh and his many great nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by Bonnie Littley. Al is also dearly missed by many friends.

In 2009, Al retired from the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station after a 30-year career where he worked as a Control Room Shift Operating Supervisor.

In honour of Al’s wishes, simple arrangements have been made and a celebration of his life will be held at The Lake House (600 Liverpool Rd, Pickering, ON L1W 1P9), on Thursday March 16th from 1pm-4pm. Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available.

If desired, memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to The Kidney Foundation of Canada and the Cancer Society of Canada.

With family present, Betty passed away peacefully at 102 years of age on March 9, 2023 at Hillsdale Estates in Oshawa.

Betty was predeceased by her loving husband, David Rowe, her brother, Charles and her sister, Grace.

She was the daughter of Emily (Martin) and Sydney Charles White of Toronto.

Betty was a wonderful mother to her four children: Barbara McRoberts (Hugh), Chuck (Jane), Sydney (Lyn) and Robert. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Darcy, Anthea (Will) and Charles (Monika).

Betty was a great-grandmother to Betty and Nancy (Anthea and Will) and Gwendolyn (Charles and Monika).

Mum took joy in remembering and celebrating family birthdays and significant events.

She was always very athletic, starting out as a track star at North Toronto C. I. Then it was competitive tennis followed by badminton. Later she took up golf and curling.

These summer and winter sports became her passions and she was often a winner. She played at Thornhill Golf and Country Club and continued golfing even into her nineties! Another passion for her was Bridge.

She made many friends playing this and she continued to enjoy the game after she left North Toronto and moved to Port Perry where she played into her 101tst year.

Betty was an avid reader who delighted in reading to her grand and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Betty’s life will be arranged at a later date.
