It is with great sadness that we announce Stacy Delaney, age 52, cherished son, brother, uncle and friend passed peacefully on Feb 19, 2023.
Stacy grew up in Pickering, Ontario and was very active in sports, mainly hockey and baseball. He often reminisced about the great times he had at countless tournaments with amazing friends and how lucky he was to have been coached by his father for many of those years.
He was a commercial painter by trade and was great at it! ‘Stace’ knew a little about a lot of things and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was quick-witted and always made us laugh. Stacy was a very proud uncle to his seven nephews and loved receiving messages from them.

Simon has always been known for his adventurous spirit over the years. He built many friendships through his involvement with motorcycles and sports cars; running many garages; stock car racing; snowmobiling and ATVs; touring cars; and the local car scene.
His grandkids were always amazed by how he knew so many people, everywhere they went, often by the car they drove, or used to drive. Simon & Lois always had an "open door" approach with friends and the friends of their kids.
Many people have often congregated at the house, garage, and shop. He flourished during retirement by being the ultimate cheerleader for the interests of his grandkids and many others.
Many hours were spent at the hockey rink, soccer field, pool, school gym/auditorium, etc... "Let 'er Rip" could often be heard from the viewing areas.
Simon's passion over the last number of years was his involvement with both the founding and promoting of the 'Fire Up The Grille' car show and Ministry.
