When it comes to moms, we hit the jackpot!

Our mom was our biggest cheerleader and our most ardent supporter.

She displayed her strength and courage every day and inspired all of us to be braver versions of ourselves.

Barb was a single mother to her three beloved children.

No amount of personal sacrifice was too high a price when it came to creating a good life for her family.

She faced her diagnosis with dignity and a plan of how she wanted to spend her time. We were lucky enough to enjoy The Summer of Barb, which included many parties and visitors.

She was surrounded by love and we were blessed to be able to be with her at the end. Barb was the loving mom of Cindy (Michelle), Shawn, and Erin (Mark).

She was also a loving Nana and great-Nana to Justin (Amy), Joshua (Ainslee), Chelsea (Aidan), Megan, Blake, and Nella.

Barb shared a special bond with her niece Betty Ann. She will be forever remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and her favourite son-in-law, Don Davey.

Barb cherished her relationship with her daughter, Erin.

They shared a best friendship that knew no bounds.

Barb had a special gift of making those around her feel valued and loved, and she will be remembered by many for all the love and friendship she brought into our lives.

In memory of Barb memorial donations may be directed to the Charles H Best Diabetes Center.
