(December 3, 1961 – February 15, 2022)

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Paul Andrew Dick, age 60.

Paul was born in Chatham, ON to Anne Kelly and Archie Dick.

After living with mental illness for over 38 years, Paul lost his battle and is now resting in peace.

Paul’s plans to walk across Canada in March of 2020 to raise funds and awareness about people living with mental health issues were cut short when the Coronavirus spread throughout the world.

Paul spoke about the need for kindness in the world, especially over the last few years.

He was talented and skilled in many ways and wore his heart on his sleeve.

He was always there for his friends and family and would truly do almost anything to help, not just those he knew but also strangers in need. He enjoyed go kart racing and passed his love for the sport on to his son Jordan.

Paul was witty, selfless, intelligent, kind, and notably courageous.

Paul was a loved father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

He leaves behind his mother, Anne, daughter Julie and son Jordan, siblings Steve, Mike (Shelley), Sue, and Sheila (David) and sister-in-law, Hannifer. Paul was predeceased by his father Archie, brother Dave and stepfather Neil.

Donations will be gratefully accepted to Ontario Shores Mental Health Facility who took great care of Paul when he needed it. Donate Today | Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences.
