Born in Truro, N.S. to parents Sylvia and Kenneth MacMillian.

Freddie grew up in Truro Heights, N.S. With great sadness he leaves behind his wife Cathy, children Fabian, Sylvia and Alicia.

His grandchildren James, Michael, Ashley, Fabian, Corina and Connor, numerous great grandchildren, his brother Donald (Marilyn) and sisters Yvonne (Fred), Karen (John), Marena (Paul) and Pansy.

Predeceased by his brothers Clifford, Douglas and Larry, and sisters Brenda and April, and son David.

A celebration of life will be held in Oshawa, Ontario and burial at a later date in the Truro Heights Cemetery.

On July 4th, 2023 John received eternal peace as he breathed his final breath at Hillsdale Estates in his 90th year.

Beloved wife and best friend of Judy.

John ran the race with courage and determination, specifically as he dealt with his mental health condition.

His faith was strong as he ended his journey and as he found renewed HOPE in His Lord.

We are deeply grateful when we think of the years John resided at Hillsdale Estates.

The exceptional love and care he received on Willow Ways floor have made a deep and lasting impression.

We thank the outstanding staff and support team as words cannot convey our appreciation for all you have done for John.

A Graveside Service will be held at Thornton Cemetery, 1200 Thornton Road North on Monday July 10th at 10 am. Following that, a Memorial Service will be held at Zion Christian Reformed Church, 409 Adelaide Avenue East, Oshawa at 11:30 am.

Dear sister of Pamela (the late Don) Little and Dave McMullan (Pauline Eaton).

Loving aunt & god mother to Billy. She was predeceased by her parents Gerald “Boo” and Beverly Boyt.

She will be lovingly remembered by her dear friends Diane Marcotte and Kayte Cleary and their families.

Jenny had a long career with Metro Toronto Police in Communications, she was tasked to organize the annual United Way Campaign. After her retirement she became a counsellor for women leaving domestic abusive situations.

She also was very involved the NEWF Friends Newfoundland Dog Rescue, a cause very near to her heart. She had an exceptional quick wit, fantastic sense of humour and was loved by many. She will be missed!

Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Friday July 7th, 2023 from 10 – 11 am, Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 11 am.
