Terry Andris - (July 14, 1964 - September 28, 2019) - (55 years young)I am heartbroken to announce the passing of my big brother, Terry.Terry was the most unique, creative person ever. He made the good times fun and the bad times bearable. He was always ready with a fun challenge, puzzle or mystery for us to solve. He always made us laugh. I will miss him forever.Terry leaves behind his two fur children Adina and Izzy. He was predeceased by our dad, Andy Kalnins, for whom he proudly shared his name "Andris."He’ll be greatly missed by our mom Marlene (Bob), my big sister Tammy (Blaine) and myself Shelley (Mike). He had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews; Codie, Hunter, McKenna and Caelum who loved him dearly. He was known to them as their “Funkle."A big thank you to all his friends who helped him through these last few years. He had so many friends, but a very special thank you goes to Gloria and Chris for always being there for him.Terry’s wishes were to be cremated with his predeceased kitties. The Honourable Justice J. Bryan - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of The Honourable Justice J. Bryan Shaughnessy, in the company of his spirited Irish family on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the age of 70.Bryan lived for family.He cherished the 47 years spent with his wife, Patricia. Together, they adored their children, as evidenced by the ever-growing collection of family photos on the walls and tabletops at home and in his chambers.His children, Erin Geraghty (Bill), Sean (Anna), Kevin (Kate), Kate Ingram (David), and Paul, will dearly miss their most reliable role model and dependable voice of reason.So too will his loyal and loving sisters, Cathie Fedak and Colleen Shaughnessy and his many nieces and nephews.He will no doubt enjoy his next chapter in the company of his sister, Maureen Shaughnessy and his parents, Jack and Marie Shaughnessy.In his later years, nothing brought him greater joy and pride than visits or phone calls with his ten grandchildren: Kieran, Leah and Emily; James and Evan; Hannah, Lochlan and Braden; and Oliver and Jack.His legacy is rich. He devoted his days to the service of others, and was a constant model of integrity, generosity, and love. (1955 - 2019) - Passed away peacefully on Thursday September 5, 2019 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.The family would like to thank all of the nurses at Lakeridge Health who provided compassionate care for Terry in her last three months of life.They are truly all angels.Terry was born and raised in Niagara Falls.She was educated at the University of Waterloo where she majored in math and English. From there, she went on to work for GM Canada, EDS Canada and finally Hewlett Packard Canada until her retirement in 2013.Terry was a loving wife and leaves behind her husband Brian Rutherford.Terry was a dedicated mother and embraced every moment with her two daughters Kathryn Rutherford (Jon Ng) and Victoria Rutherford (Ryan Bowness).Terry especially loved her role as grandmother to James Ng and Simon Ng. She treasured every moment with her three sisters Brenda Julie (Rick), Suzie Biamonte (Ralph) and Laurie Bigger Niemi (Jeff). Terry was a member of several golf leagues, the Oshawa Curling Club as well as the Oshawa & Bowmanville Camera Clubs. Terry spent most of her summers at her family cottage in Haliburton, Ontario. This is where she loved to golf, spend time at the water solving crosswords, and paddling around the lake taking wildlife photographs.
