The family of Brendan James Holly are saddened to announce his passing after a valiant fight against Cancer.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children Brennan and Victoria along with their mother Kendra, his siblings Maria Harte, Mike Holly (Susan) and Eileen Sekelyk (John).
Brendan was pre-deceased by his parents Mike and Teresa Holly, his sister Patricia Litvinskas and nephew Michael Harte. He was an uncle to 10 nieces and nephews and a great-uncle to 5.
Brendan was a very proud and devoted father and a true friend to so many.
Brendan will be forever cherished and missed by all those who knew him.

On May 1, 2024, Bob Montgomery, at the age of 79, lost his fight with a severe form of leukaemia after just 8 weeks of rapidly declining health.
A devastating loss for his wife, Sharon (Crossman) Montgomery, son Rob and daughter-in-law Heidi Montgomery and son Kris and daughter-in-law Jackie Montgomery.
His grandchildren: Matt (Erin), Liam, Meagan (Matt), Jasper and Jameson will greatly miss their “Poppa”.
He was always a source of fun and a smile, inspiration and encouragement.
Bob was the son of Melville and Beatrice Montgomery (deceased) and brother of Doug (deceased) and sister-in-law Fay Montgomery. He was a favourite uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Bob was a licensed electrician, with a 31-year career as a supervisor with the Durham Region and was always helping friends and family with electrical problems.
He was a hockey coach for 19-years with the LNHL Blackhawks and Woodview Park.
Leaving one rink for another, he became an active member of the Oshawa Curling Club and continued curling until his last bonspiel this year in Haliburton. Bob also had a love for playing cards with friends and family.
Sharon and Bob would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on May 21st. They travelled extensively, cruises, trips to Florida, but Bob’s favourite place was their family cottage on Lake Kushog.
Bob will be greatly missed by his family and his very many friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 25th from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the Oshawa Convention Centre, 67 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa.

Unexpectedly at his residences on Sunday April 28th, 2024 at 33 years of age.
Beloved son of David and Victoria.
Loving brother of Erica and her husband Bill, Mike and Amber.
Cherished uncle of Ellie and Mia. Dear grandson of Betty and the late Wendell, and Alphonsina and the late Basil. Brandon will be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Brandon will be fondly remembered by his many friends that considered him their brother.

On April 29th 2024 at 1:14pm Burton Robert Davenport left this world after a very long and tough fight that he fought so hard.
Leaving behind an incredible family that he created, his wife Tracey, his sons Richard(Amanda), Brad (Nicole), and his daughter Stephanie (Zak).
His beautiful grandchildren that he loved so much Memphis, Lundyn, Aurorah, and Isabella. His Mother Lorraine, his brothers and many extended family and friends.
Burt was in love with hockey, nascar, transport trucks and tow trucks.
He drove both transports and tow trucks and had an obsession with listening to the scanner.
He spent his time in a hockey arena watching his sons play hockey and coaching them or throwing things at the tv watching the Toronto maple leafs.
Whenever Burt would walk into a room it would light up, the loss is a big one and he will be missed dearly. Arranements with Morris Funeral Chapel .
Age 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday April 21st, 2024 at Scarborough and Rouge Hospital.
She was born in Trinidad on September 15th, 1937 to Cyril and Maude Sahadath.
Babsie was the cherished wife of the late Roy Mahabir.
Mother of Ronnie, Robin and Roger (Tracie).
Grandmother of Justin, Brooke, Ryan and Kyle.
Sister-in-law of Shirley, Lola and Wilma Sahadath.
Loving aunt of many.
She was the last standing of ten siblings of her generation in the Sahadath family.
Babsie loved shopping at Scarborough Town Centre especially at Sears and The Bay on Saturdays with her granddaughter and Dawne, who was like a sister to her.
She loved spoiling her grandchildren, always whipping up delicious meals and treats. There would even be competitions among the grandkids about whose photos made it on the refrigerator.
Babsie was devoted to her family and was the glue that held the Mahabir family together. She loved camping on weekends in Marmora during the summer and watching her favourite TV shows. She came to Canada in the late 60’s and her home was a welcoming place; her door always open to all family.
Her grandkids will always remember her advice and famous sayings – “friends will carry you but they won’t bring you back” and “those who don’t hear must feel.”
Babsie will be deeply missed but will live on in our hearts and treasured memories.
The Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 30th, 2024 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday May 1st, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St Isaac Jogues Catholic Church at 1148 Finch Ave, Pickering.

1938 - 2024
Barry Wall passed away suddenly at his home on April 24, 2024 at the age of 84.
Barry is survived and will be dearly missed by his children, Brian (Dulce), Stephen, Sandra (Aaron), Diana (Chris) and his two grandchildren, Drake and Arthur.
Cherished brother of Joan Wall. Loving Uncle of predeceased by David (Helen), Jamie, Larry, Greg, Thomas, Deborah, Jim, April (Gary), Ronald and John.
He is predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Elizabeth Wall and brothers Lawrence and James.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, playing cards, mastering puzzles, riding motorcycles and watching auto racing. If there was a game to be played, whether it be darts, bowling, shuffleboard and so on, he was always willing to participate.
Barry was a printer at Hallmark Cards for 38 years and retired young at 55. Shortly after, he spent all his winters in Largo, Florida, selling his trailer last year at 83 years old. He recently returned from Florida, having spent his final trip of 5 weeks with friends.
He had many friends in Canada and Florida, spending time with them doing the hobbies he enjoyed. Barry will be tremendously missed by his family and friends.

On April 25, 2024 Beatrice Ann Johnston (Owens), loving wife of the late Edward Johnston passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the age of 90.
Ted and Bea moved to Canada from Northern Ireland in 1957 to start a family.
Loving mother of Paul (Cheryl), Ann (Mark) and Katherine (Kris), grandmother to Kevin (Catherine), Caitlin (Douglas), Peter, Alexandra, Maddie (Brad) and Grace (Alex) and great grandmother to Emma, Isla, Alice and Tate.
Her family and friends will forever be grateful for her gentle love and kindness.

Betty loved her family so very much and she was a Godly example of putting her hope and trust in the Lord in times of sorrow. She loved flowers and for 14 years, she and Dad owned a flower shop in Bowmanville. Her gardens were beautiful! Her love, support and gentleness will be greatly missed.

JULY 12, 1939 – APRIL 9, 2024
On April 9th, 2024, the Taylor family lost Beryl.
She died peacefully in hospital at the age of 84.
She was a loving mum to Andrew & Sally, mother-in-law to Noella and Paul, and Nana to Shawn, Jaclyn, Dylan, Maddy and Robert.
She is predeceased by her loving husband Bob, to whom she was married for 59 years. She will be missed by a special circle of friends who have been an important part of her life for more than 50 years.
Beryl loved working as a teacher - first in England and then in Durham Region. Once retired, she taught bridge at the Oshawa Seniors Centre. Outside of work, Beryl was known for her boundless energy and her interest in adventure. She was active in all kinds of sports - especially tennis, squash, golf, skiing and pickleball.
She was an avid gardener, a whiz at all kinds of puzzles, and a big fan of the Toronto Raptors. Beryl loved having family and friends around, and often organized special outings and events to bring people together.
Visitation will take place on Saturday April 20th, from 12:30 to 2:30 pm at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King St. W. Oshawa. A memorial service will take place immediately afterward, at 2:30.
