We sadly announce the passing of ‘Barbie’ on March 31, surrounded by the love of her family, at Centennial Place, Millbrook.
B, Barbara, loving wife for 60 years to the late Richard (2013), devoted mother to Rick (Sherry), Newtonville, Deborah Huggins (the late Brad), Peterborough, Tim, Kendal, Mary Lee Thomson (Brian), Peterborough.
Special sister to the late Deborah, Jim (Marg) and Roger (Yvonne).
Loving sister to Karen Cashin (Fred) Orono. Barbara leaves eight grandchildren, Ricky (Julie), Mike (Ashley), Greg (Katy), Ryan, Krista, Kyle, Derek and Jacqueline (Kyle), and six greatgrandchildren, Ayva, Falon, Indie, Connor, Jaxon and Nash, with many nieces and nephews to carry on.
For many years, Barbara was committed to her community of Enniskillen and the United Church. She led the UCW and taught Sunday school and occasionally stood behind the pulpit.
She was very involved with Mothers’ Fellowship and volunteered as a leader with 4 H, while supporting the many events taking place in the church.
She took advantage of living in a former manse, and hosted weddings and showers and receptions and family reunions in their Enniskillen home.
Much gratitude to the exceptional staff at Centennial Place for their care and compassion over the last eleven years. Much appreciation and many thanks also to Dr. Van Loon for his attention and kindness.
Visitation will be held at the Beacan Presbyterian Church Beaverton, on Friday April 5th from 1p.m. until time of funeral service at 2p.m. Interment to follow at the Old Stone Church Cemetery Beaverton.

God called Brenda home peacefully on March 21st, 2024 at the age of 82.
She is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Bryan and her parents.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernadette Rose Tuepah, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She passed away peacefully on March 18, 2024 in her 79th year with her beloved husband Bernard Tuepah by her side.
Bernadette was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her.
Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love touched countless lives. Her commitment to family was unwavering. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Bernadette is survived by her loving husband Joseph “Bernard” Tuepah, her son David (Teresa) and her daughter Cathy (Wade), her grandsons Ryan and Sam, granddaughter Ricki Scott (Dean) and great-grandchildren Bronson and Mary, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.
Bernadette is survived by her sister Monica Rikely and her dear sisters-in-law Marie Prevost-McDonell-Bruyea, and Marg McDonell, as well as many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
Bernadette was devoted to her family, spending every moment she could with them. She took great pride in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and never missed an opportunity to be with them. Very loving grandmother to Ryan, Sam and Ricki (Dean).
Bernadette never missed an opportunity to share in their lives. Bernadette also loved to spend time with her great-grandchildren Bronson and Mary. Bernadette was also a devoted Leaf’s Fan donning jerseys to watch games with her husband.
Bernadette loved to travel as well. Bernadette took comfort in her unwavering faith in God. Bernadette grew up on her family farm in Foxboro, Ontario with her 10 brothers and sisters.
Bernadette was an active union advocate in her early career, later retiring from General Motors. Bernadette also loved playing cards with her family.
A visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West on Friday March 22 from 4-8 pm and on Saturday March 23 from 9-10am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Gertrude’s Roman Catholic Church, 590 King Street East in Oshawa 11am.
May Bernadette rest in peace, knowing she was dearly loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
