With heavy hearts and immense gratitude, today we honor the life and legacy of our beloved father, William Stapledon.

A man of remarkable kindness and warmth, Bill's departure shortly before his 75th birthday leaves a void in our lives.

The moments we shared with him will forever echo within us.

Bill found peace and solace in the great outdoors, where he reveled in the sun's warm embrace. He loved music, and was known as a man with dancing feet. He put a smile on people's faces wherever he went.

Above all, Bill's greatest joy resided in the love he shared with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his daughters, Tammy and Sherry, and his son, Adam, along with their partners, Tom, Jason, and Mitch. His grandkids, Abbygale, Rebecca, Evelyn, and Harrison, were radiant stars in his life, and will miss their poppy dearly.

Today, we take solace in the knowledge that Bill has reunited with his eldest son, Thomas. Though their time together on Earth was cut short, we take comfort in their eternal bond.

As we bid farewell to Bill, we hold onto the love he shared, the joy he brought, and the memories he etched into our hearts. His spirit will forever guide us as we continue to navigate life's journey without him.

A special thanks to ReachView Care Home, and the incredible souls who loved and supported him during his stay.

Your care was a bright spot in his life and will be remembered forever. Rest in eternal peace, dear Bill, knowing that you are forever cherished and loved.
