Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 92.
Beloved husband of Antonina.
Loving father of Irena Czupak (Roman), Janusz Krynicki (Jagoda), and Bogdan Krynicki (Lidia).
Cherished grandfather of Greg, David, and Alex.
Dear brother of Jan and Anna of Poland.
Wlodzimierz was a dedicated longtime parishioner of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 3:30 – 5 p.m. with Panachyda at 4 p.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 2 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
Interment to follow at St. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Cemetery.

“Bill” passed peacefully at home on Saturday April 8th, 2023 surrounded by his family.
Beloved husband to Cheryl for 44 years.
Much loved Dad to Kristen (Joel), Amanda (Scott) and Shawn.
Cherished Papa to Scotty, Sophia, Sammy and Brady.
Dear Brother to Debbie, Wayne (Danuta) and honourary sister Terri “Tee Tee” pre-deceased by brother Bob. Brother-in-law to Brad (Carolyn).
Bill will be deeply missed by all of his friends, family and extended family including nieces and nephews.
He will be fondly remembered for his avid love of all sports, especially golf.
At this time cremation has taken place with a celebration of life to follow at a later date.

1933 - 2023
Elwood passed away peacefully on Saturday April 8th at the Amica Retirement Residence in Pickering at the age of 90.
He was predeceased by his wife Barbara (1995) and his beloved daughter Kellie Ann Reeve (1999) (Bob).
Loving father of Paul (Jennifer), Gary (Laura), Laurie and Glenn (Renee).
Proud grandfather of Lauren (Jason), Krystin, Karli (Ian), Jackie (Rob), Ryan, Christopher, Victoria, Mathieu, Natalie and Maya.
Great grandfather of Willow, Harvey, Walker and Rylee.
The second of six brothers born to Audrey & Wallace Walker - Elwood grew up on a farm in rural Minden, Ontario.
He moved to Toronto on his own at the age of seventeen and soon after, began building a life with Barbara.
Elwood had a long and fulfilling career as an executive with Motorola Canada.
Elwood was actively involved with the Salvation Army and The Association for Community Living - helping with their programs for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
Elwood was an incredible man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of William (Billy) Robert Swire, age 66, of Toronto, Ontario on Monday April 3, 2023.
Loving son of Doris Swire and William James Swire (predeceased).
Loving brother of Elaine Oulton and brother-in-law to Gary Oulton. Dear uncle of David Temple (Christa) and Kelly Devries (Jamie).
Loved great uncle to Ally, Mae, Emma, Liam, Noa-Rose and Sawyer. Will be dearly missed by his many cousins, friends and colleagues.
Billy was an employee at De Havilland Aircraft for over 40 years. Just retired and spending time with friends and family. The family appreciates all your prayers and kind gestures during this difficult time.
A memorial visitation for Billy will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday April 15, 2023 from 12:30 p.m. until time of memorial service at 1:30 p.m.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Bill on March 27th at Lakeridge Health Oshawa after a long happy life with family by his side.
Bill was the son of the late Nick and Anna Hasiuk.
He was the husband and best friend of Shirley (nee Bromell), father of Jewel (Dave) Johnston, Wayne (Karen) Hicks, grandfather of 4 and great grandfather of 2.
Bill was an avid farmer for many years and made a lot of friends along the way.
Bill always had a big smile that could mean trouble was coming. His heart was huge, always three to help someone in need.
Special thanks to Kevin and Nancy who showed Bill a lot of love and care.
Because of his love for animals, donations to the Humane Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
There was a visitation at Northcutt Funeral Home on Tuesday March 28th. As of Bills request, there will be no service.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
1934 - 2023
Wendy, 88, passed away peacefully in hospital with her family by her side after a short illness.
She leaves behind her loving husband Harold, of 68 years, her daughter Julie and grandchildren Ryan and Lindsay (boyfriend Ian).
Wendy and Harold have lived in Pickering Village since 1958. Wendy was a long time member and volunteer with Pickering Village United Church and a past volunteer with Ajax-Pickering Hospital.
The family would like to thank the staff of Ajax-Pickering Hospital in ICU, 2 West and 2 North for the excellent care and compassion Wendy received.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a “Celebration of Life” at Pickering Village United Church on Friday, April 21 at 11:30 a.m, 300 Church St. N. Ajax (Pickering Village).

MARTIN, Walter Emerson (Skip) passed away peacefully in his home in Brooklin Ontario on Friday, March 31 2023 in his 84th year.

Much loved father of Beverley Martin Helmus of Brooklin and Karen (David) Anderson of Courtice. Grandfather of Jennifer (David), Jeffrey, Graham (Stevie), Christopher (Tawny) and Amelia.
Great Grandfather of Lily, Matthew, William, Dawson and Addison.
Dear brother of Bill Martin and Glenda Thomson.
Predeceased by Bob Martin and Eleanor.

Passed away in his home on March 25th, 2023, after courageously battling various illnesses.
In the end it was his big, kind heart that took him.
lan was born March 30th, 1939, in Derbyshire, England to Eva and Cyril Birks.
In 1969 Alan immigrated to Canada with his cherished wife Betty (deceased 2003) and beloved children Debbie and Nigel (Della).
Alan will be missed by his wonderful siblings Geoff (Janet), Janice (late John), Glenda (Mel), and Barbara (John) as well as his many nieces and nephews. Alan loved his grandchildren Danielle (Derrick), Miranda, and Brayden very much.
He was excited to have been a great-grandfather to Lexi and an honorary grandfather to Megan, Jack, Willow, and Odie. Alan spent the last 16 years enjoying life with his beloved partner Sherry.
For over 30 years Alan worked for Transilwrap Canada in the North American plastics industry; without a single sick day he would proudly add. In his retirement Alan enjoyed many artistic hobbies including woodworking, painting, and most recently weaving. Alan also partook in many great rounds of golf with the boys.
Many children and seniors shared their yearly wish list with Alan in his magical portrayal of Santa Claus and Father Christmas. Alan delighted in cooking for his loved ones and his wonderfully strong trifle was always enjoyed by many at Christmas.
He was an upstanding man in many aspects.

Peacefully passed away on Tuesday March 21st surrounded by his family.
He was 86 years old.
Walter was born on May 9th, 1936 in Georgetown, Guyana to Ngui Gui Yin (Edward) and Dorothy Yhap.
He is predeceased by his brother Dennis and sister Valerie.
Walter will be lovingly missed by his wife Shela; children Diane and Greg; grandchildren Christian, Krystalline and Isabel; siblings Sister Mary Peter, Bonnie (Jimmy), Betty Lou and Louis (Lorraine), and many other relatives and friends from around the world.

Passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord, following a lengthy and valiant battle with Cancer.
Survived by the love of his life for over 60 years Margaret (nee Byers) and his 3 daughters Lorelei (Darren Locke), Katharine (Gord Ridout) and Kristine (John Korosec).
Well known for a great ‘fish story’ Bill was an avid outdoorsman and gifted heavy tow truck operator. On many a snowy night, he raced toward danger to keep the roads clear for others. His first instincts were always to help and fix, he could often be found helping others and lending them his calm strength.
He delighted in his many grandchildren Zachariah, Chase, Wyatt, Domenic and Samantha, Step Grandkids Riley and Ethan. Most recently adding 3 beautiful great granddaughters Bellamy, Scarlett and Chloe to his legacy.
Predeceased by his parents Geneva (nee Payne) and Bill Sr., as well as his beloved twin sister Ivy Foley (Doug). He will be deeply missed by his family, nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Margaret & family would like to thank the staff at Markham Stouffville Oncology, Oak Valley Health Uxbridge Site and the incredible team at Oak Ridges Hospice.
Following cremation at Low and Low Funeral Home in Uxbridge, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
