February 13, 1941 - March 11, 2023
On the evening of March 10th we suffered a great loss.
A kind man with a personality larger than life itself, Bill passed at home as he requested with friends and family never far from his side.
Bill was the only child of William and Martha (Marge) Emmerton.
He will be sadly missed by his devoted children Sonya (husband Kelly) and Shawn, his 5 grandchildren (Mackenzy, Liam, Jessica, Jarrod and Callum) and his countless close friends.
Bill will also be remembered by his companion Diane Dean and her family. Known for his motorcycles, cowboy boots and guitars, Bill had a generous spirit, an unmatched wit and charmed everyone who was lucky enough to meet him.
Bill loved to spend winters in the warmth of Florida and summers back in Canada. He was happiest surrounded by friends and family, enjoying a cold beer and listening to country music.
Bill was an entertainer at heart producing his own CD of country favourites and was always up for a pick-n-grin session here or across the many states he traveled.
Bill's adventures on his bike spanned from the West coast all the way to South America. Bill also had his pilot’s licence. What he experienced in his 82 years would rival what many could experience in 10 lifetimes.
In lieu of a funeral the family will host a celebration of life at a future date to allow friends and family to gather and share memories.
Please save the tentative date of Friday June 2nd, 2023
