With heavy hearts and great sadness, we announce that our father, Bruce, passed peacefully at his home north of Sandford, in his 88th year.
He was the beloved husband of Barb (predeceased 2019) for over sixty-two and a half years, and a loving and cherished father to Steve (Sandra), Brenda (Brian), Maggie (Gord), Karen (Jerry), and Brian (predeceased 1984).
Bruce was the proud grandfather of eleven grandchildren and ten adorable great-grandchildren. He was a cherished brother to Bill and George (predeceased 1951), and loving son to his parents Robert (predeceased 1997) and mother Ezella (predeceased 1999).
Bruce will be fondly remembered by family, extended family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 2PM – 5PM at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridg. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 2PM at the Sandford United Church, 405 Sandford Road, Sanford with a visitation at 1PM at the church prior to the service.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernard (Bud) Horace Mallette on December 24th, 2023, in his 78th year.
He is survived by his beloved wife Helen, his children Andrea (Shaun) Piels, and Ed (Sarah) Mallette.
He will be dearly remembered by his four grandchildren Carter, Parker, Archer, and Addison Piels.
He is predeceased by his father Bernard and mother Violet, sister Carol (Bonar) Bell, and brother Brian Mallette. Much beloved brother-in-law to Betty and Henry Haass, Valerie and John Geisberger, and Claire and Lynda Glendinning. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Bud was born in Sudbury, Ontario, on September 25, 1946.
He moved to Oshawa where he met his wife Helen and started his family. Throughout the years they bought land and built a cottage that brought many happy memories with his family.
In the winter, he enjoyed watching the Oshawa Generals, and cheering on his grandchildren at all of their sporting events. In retirement he enjoyed having coffee with friends, spending time with family, fishing off the dock, and watching sports and movies.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 29th at 10:30-12 pm at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will take place after the viewing at 12 pm in the Chapel.

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry.
Brian, at the age of 70, was the beloved husband of Georgia (nee Jones), for 48 years.
Loving father of Andrew Genge (Baily) and Jane Genge (Thé Tieu).
Cherished Grampa of Carter, Nathaniel and Lilianna. Brian is survived by his sister Norma (the late Max), and predeceased by his brother Harold (survived by Paulette). He will be dearly missed by his nephew Bob Clark.
Brian will be remembered by his many family and friends including the WAGG golf group.
The family would like to thank the 6F floor Lakeridge Oshawa staff as well as the Oak Ridges Hospice staff and volunteers for all of their care and support.
