Passed away peacefully on January 27, 2024 in her 93rd year.
Predeceased by much loved parents Harry and Marjorie Welsh, husband Gerald “Nip” Hooker, her sister Elaine Hart and brother-in-law Jack Hooker.
Survived by loving son Ken (Gaetan), nieces Jane Meil (the late Wayne), Beverly Pope (Bernard) and their families, as well as nephew Steve Simmons.
Lovingly remembered as Auntie Jo by the Sundin family and remembered by sister-in-law Ruth Hooker and her family. Joanne will also be remembered with affection by Mariden, Rita, Barb and Wendy.

James passed peacefully Thursday January 25th in his 83rd year.
James was a dynamic teacher in Toronto at Victoria Park Collegiate.

David retired after a long career with Air Canada.

Beloved wife of the late Alvin Funnell; dearly loved mother of the late Cherylann and Jimmy Funnell (Tammy), survived by sons Glen and Ricky (Nadene).
Loving grandmother of Jennifer (Joel), Sandra (Mark), Rachel, Jesse (Danielle) Jake (Stephanie), Allen, Bobby, Nicole (Dave) and Katie (Sean). Adoring Gram to 15 great-grandchildren.
She was above all devoted to her family, whether you called her mom or Gram the door was always open. Joyce will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

It is with profound sadness and very heavy hearts to announce the passing of Judith (Judy) Ann Lang of Courtice.
Suddenly, and surrounded by all her family at Lakeridge Health Centre, Oshawa on Friday, January 12, 2024 at the age of 78.
Born in Oshawa, Ontario on, April 10, 1945.
Daughter of the late Donald and Edna Cutler. Judith (nee Cutler) was the beloved wife of Jim Lang for 54 years.
Loving mother of her 2 boys, Stephen (Darlyne), Brent (Jennifer) Judy will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Dylan Lang (Karley), Samantha Lang (Owen) Cole Morrison and Easton Morrison.
Dear sister of David Cutler (Wilma). Fondly remembered by her Sister-in-law Mildred Dreossi and Brotherin-law Bryan Lang (Cindy). Judy will be remembered by all of her nieces and nephews.
Anyone who knew Judy knew her greatest love was her family.
Judy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; traveling the world with her husband and closest friends, spending time with her family and grandchildren, right down to watching the sunset on the back deck with her husband while feeding the birds and reading one of her favourite authors.
Judy worked as a Teacher for various school boards throughout her 35 plus years of teaching. Her love for children was infectious.
As an accomplished teacher she shared her passion for teaching with those around her, the sparkling sense of wonder and curiosity in the minds of her students is why Judy loved working as a teacher.
Judy impacted the lives of many around her, she was an incredible, kind-hearted, empathetic woman who possessed the rare quality of making those around her feel safe and seen. Her gentle spirit and warm knowing smile left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Henry ‘Hank’ Webster, in his 93rd year, on Monday, January 15, 2024 at the Cottage Hospital, Uxbridge.
Hank was a lifelong resident of Uxbridge; he was born on the family farm on Hwy #47 east of Hwy 23.
Hank was married to his loving wife Donna (nee Greig) for 54 years.
He had one son, Ronald John Webster (Marilyn) of Victoria, British Columbia and his two granddaughters, Danni and Lacey Webster.
Hank was predeceased by his parents John and Myrtle Webster, his older sister Evelyn Michie (Bob), and his younger brother Gordon Webster.
He is survived by niece Mary Anne Richardson (Jack), sons R.J. and Shawn, his sister-in-law Betty and his nephew Wayne Webster.
He will be missed by his wife Donna, his large extended Greig family and many friends.
He was a mechanic at Williamson and following his retirement mastered skills of carpentry, furniture construction, antique tractor restoration and building model wooden vehicles.
Visitation will take place at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge, on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 6PM – 8PM. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 2PM in the Chapel with a visitation 2 hours prior.
