Allan was the dearly loved husband of Liz Nicholls (MacPherson) for 51 years.

Dear father of Daniel (Hillary), and Andrea. Loving grampa of Tyson, Oliver, and Gabriel. Brother of Mary Duncan (predeceased Ron), Flora Lee (predeceased John) and Sheila Nicholls (predeceased Bill Wishon).

Brother-in-law of Lorraine McRae (predeceased Pat), Hugh MacPherson, predeceased Connie Frier (Paul).

Allan will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Cemetery, Bolsover on Saturday June 10, 2023 at 1:30 P.M. A time of remembrance and refreshments at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Hall, Bolsover will be held following the graveside service.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 23, 2023 following a courageous battle against cancer.

Loving son to Herbert and Angelika.

Proud big brother to Stu and Liz (Colin Barrett). Adored Uncle to Aurelia, Abigail and Avery.

He will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends. Andrew graduated from Ryerson University in 2004 as a Civil Engineer and became an established and well respected Engineer by colleagues and clients while working in Whitby at both The Sernas Group and Candevcon East Limited.

He had a passion for hunting, fishing, enjoyed golfing, playing hockey and baseball, and spending time at the family cottage.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29th from 1 – 3 p.m. at McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax). A Celebration of Life will take place in the Chapel at 3 p.m.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Austin Adolphus Phillip, lovingly known to many as Evangelist Austin.

Born and raised in Newtown, St. Kitts, Austin resided in Toronto, Canada where he passed away on April 11th, 2023 at the age of 75, after a 5 year battle with cancer.

Dear son of the late Stanford and Rosetta Phillip, Austin leaves to mourn his 5 children, Dexter (Sherryann), Anthony (Lurleen), John, Rosa, and Renee (Jelani); his 10 grandchildren, John Jr., Justin, Jordan, Jerisha, Miguel-Antonio, Arianna, Denieska, Joshua, Zahra, and Zuri; and 4 great grandkids, Janiya, Kapri, True Heru, and Samaria.

He’s predeceased by brother Stanley and will be greatly missed by siblings, Elsa (Kenrick), Loleta, Leroy (Marilyn), Delia, Thelma (Henry), and Clecton, as well as his many nieces, nephews, friends, and his church and bible study families.

Austin grew up playing football (soccer) and singing Calypso under the stage name "Lord Coo" on the island of St Kitts, later moving to the United States, then Canada, where he was a successful real estate broker/owner prior to being ordained as a pastor. He was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, committing the latter part of his life to sharing the gospel through preaching, song and his charity ministry, Hallelujah Inspirational Ministries.

Viewing will be held on Friday, April 28th at Accettone Funeral Home in Ajax, Ontario (384 Finley Ave) from 5-8pm EST. The funeral will be at Willowdale Pentecostal Church in Toronto (288 Cummer Ave) on Saturday, April 29th - Viewing begins at 10am and service at 11am EST.

It is with great sadness but also a sense of peace, that we share the passing of Alberta Edwina Corcoran (nee Hazlett), of Oshawa, Ontario, at the age of 83.

Alberta was born in Chelmsford, NB on April 14, 1940, and cherished her visits home every year for as long as she was able.

For the last five years, she was on a courageous cancer battle that she so bravely fought.

On April 20, 2023, Alberta passed away peacefully, in her home, with the love of her family by her side.

Alberta was predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years, David Corcoran and their infant daughter, Wanda.

She was the proud and loving mother of Jim (Marian), Barbara (Robert) Chamberlain, Noreen, Diana (the late Joe) Van Kuik, and Paul. Alberta had great pride and love for all her grandchildren.

She was fondly known as Grammie to Christine (Nigel), Laura (Pete), David (Hayley), Jennifer, Brian (Whitney), Dillon (Kaitlin), Matthew, Adam and Katie-Beth (Matthew).

She was always so proud to share that she had 14 great-grandchildren: Natalie, Caleigh, Jaxon, James, Luke, Logan, Levi, Leo, Taylor, Morgan, Riley, Ellianna, Johnathan and Alexander.

Alberta is survived by her sisters, Rosemary Green, Victoria (the late Lionel) Hebert, and her brother Tooka (Donna) Peters. It brings our family great peace to know that Alberta is once again in the arms of her loved ones that have gone before her.

She is predeceased by her father Albert Hazlett, infant brother Milton Hazlett, her mother Yvonne (nee Carnahan) and her stepfather Harold Peters as well as her brother Gary Peters and sister-in-law Georgia Peters.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Anthony Naassan and the nurses at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa – Durham Regional Cancer Centre for their care and compassion toward Alberta during her courageous battle.

We would also like to thank the palliative care team that assisted with her home care in the last month. Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will happen at a later date.

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Alan David Evans, on April 12th, 2023 at the age of 83. Cherished husband to Jean for 58 years.

He is survived by his two Children Sandra and Paul Evans, his grandchildren Kirsten and Kat Lindo and his Great Grandson Mason Taube.

Alan was born in Leyton, Essex England on January 20th, 1940 and grew up with deep roots in Wales. He emigrated to Canada 41 years ago and worked as a successful Precision Engineer for over 40 years.

He loved to build model train sets, watch Formula One Racing on the TV, and spending time with his beloved dog Bugsy.

Alans memory will continue in his family and friends whose lives he touched. He was known for his kindness and great sense of humour.

His personality was larger than life and he lit up any room he walked into.

A Celebration of Life will be held at McEachnie Funeral Home, on Wednesday April 26th from 6pm to 8pm.

Anna was born in Ukraine and immigrated to Canada, where she married Bohdan and they raised their 3 daughters.
