Passed away peacefully at Hillsdale Terrace on Monday, May 8, 2023 in her 87th year.
Shirley is predeceased by her husband Tom, and her brother Wayne Fogal.
Shirley was a great cook, a talented artisan and a very proud matriarch.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Elizabeth (Craig), Sarah (Darrell), by Keri (Blair) and her grandchildren, Jessica (Jeremy), Melissa (Matt), Laura (Cameron), James, Jason (Julie) and great granddaughter, Marlo.
May she be lovingly remembered.

Passed away on April 30, 2023.
Stuart was the cherished son of Kevin and Sandy (McCarthy) MacNeil.
Father of Seth, Chloe, and Lily. Loved brother of Jeremy (Laura) Chamberlain, Kristin (Andrew) Kiriopoulos, and Katie MacNeil (John Rhead).
He will be remembered by his partner Jackie Kingsbury.
Stuart will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Brechin, on Friday May 12th from 10:30 a.m until time of funeral mass at 12 noon. Interment St. Andrew’s Catholic Cemetery.

Peter lived a life devoted to his family, community and faith.
He died peacefully at Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry. Peter will be deeply missed by his wife Marsha (née Roe). He was the sweetness, music and laughter in her life for nearly 45 years.
Lovingly remembered by his daughters Stephanie and Lisa; son-in-law Richard West; grandchildren, Ronan and Imogen; sister Ann Eastwood; sisters-in-law, Janice Coles, Judi Roe and Edna Parrott; brothers-in-law, Brent Roe and David Eastwood; as well as his nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.
Peter had a talent for writing, editing and photography, which he used in his career working for community newspapers and later, in public service.
In high school Peter developed a love of music that continued throughout his life. His musical pursuits included playing piano and guitar and singing in the choir at Saint John’s Anglican Church in Bowmanville. Music was a form of creative expression that led him to meeting many of his friends and was one of the ways he served is community and his church.
Peter also wrote his own songs inspired by his faith. He recorded two CDs of his music and some of his songs have also been played during services at Saint John’s.
Memorial Visitation will take place on Saturday May 13, 2023, at St. John’s Anglican Church 11 Temperance St. Bowmanville from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with a service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter’s memory may be made to Saint John’s Anglican Church in Bowmanville or Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry.
Sylvia Stewart passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Northumberland Hospice, Cobourg, Ontario on April 16th, 2023 in her 88th year.
She was the beloved wife of the late Marvin James Stewart.
Loving mother of Debby Curran (Chris), Sandra Stewart (John), Norman Stewart, and Donald Stewart.
Dear grandmother of Ciaran (Katie), Shauna, Hannah, John-Parker, and Kaitlinn. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Rosemary Duffell. Sylvia was born into a close-knit family in Oshawa, Ontario. She and her husband Marvin raised their family in Markham, Ontario.
Upon retiring from her office work at the TTC the retired couple moved to Cobourg where they pursued their hobbies. Sylvia was a creative and talented knitter and sewer.
Her many knitted items, sewn clothing and quilt pictures are now treasures within the family.
As a result of her devotion to her family, Sylvia has left wonderful, loving memories for everyone to enjoy.
A funeral service was held with family on Friday April 21st, 2023 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Oshawa. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.

On Monday April 17, 2023 at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, Ontario, Sharen Tibensky, (nee Price), was called home in her 72nd year.
Sharen was the eldest daughter of Roland Fredrick ‘Roy’
Price and ‘Evelyn’ Hazel Agnes Price (nee Morrison), both predeceased.
Sharen was the beloved wife of Jan Tibensky, (predeceased), loving mother to Jan-Paul Tibensky, (Monique St.
Jean), and cherished ‘Babka’ grandmother to John Isaac 8 years old and Johanna Clare, 6 years old. Sharen will be lovingly missed by her siblings: Dale Price (Barb), Cindy O’Donovan (Pat), Vince Price, (Erin), and Laurie Burke (Paul).
Sharen will be held dear in the hearts of her many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She will be fondly remembered by her friends, and by her former students and colleagues.
(Sharen was a retired teacher from the Durham District School Board).
Sharen’s greatest love was her family and she cherished her time with her grandchildren more than words can express.
Although our hearts are truly saddened, they are somewhat at peace knowing that Sharen is now free from pain having suffered for more than a decade with compromising health issues. She was ever brave in her fight to be well and never asked for sympathy nor pity.
She fought the good fight. It is for certain that this loss forever changes our family. Born on Remembrance Day 1951, going forward we will remember her on that special day, all the more.
Sharen passed close to sunset as she journeyed home. The sun has set on an amazing life.
Love has no age, no limit and no death.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 in Port Perry, Ontario.
Sam Bell of Nestleton Station, was born in Northern Ireland to Mary and Samuel Bell on February 25, 1934.
He immigrated to Canada in March 1970 with his wife Jean and their 3 young children.
He worked his entire career in Canada for Thorco Contracting making many lifelong friends.
Sam is survived by his brother Charles (Margaret), sister-in-law Elizabeth, daughter Marianne (Jim), son Samuel (Marni), friend Eileen, grandchildren Jennifer (Phillip), Christopher (Amanda), Maegan (Colum), Melissa (Amanda), Raylynne (William), Drew (Ana), Taylor (Ryan), and Emma (Justin).
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Jean, his brothers John and Frank, and his sisters Jean, Molly, Sadie, Margaret and Irene. He will be missed by a very large clan in Ireland, Scotland, England, and Wales.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Oak Ridges Hospice staff, volunteers and Dr. Steven Russell.
The Family of Samuel Bell will receive friends at the Wagg Funeral Home, Port Perry, on Saturday, May 6th from 1 – 2 p.m. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m.
