1947 - 2023
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David James Peter Gingras on July 30, 2023.
He was born on April 20, 1947 and will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
David dedicated over 30 years of his life to a career at Celestica (IBM prior) where he began his remarkable journey in the world of technology.
David will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Linda; his parents Maurice and Dorothy Gingras; and his brother Dennis Gingras.
He leaves behind his daughter Kara & his son-in-law Dave, his son David, his sisters Dianne (Don), Dorothy, his grandson’s Justin and Tyler (Samantha) as well as his niece and nephew’s and great-nephew’s.
A visitation and service will be held to celebrate his life and honor his memory at McEachnie Funeral Home in Ajax on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. Visitation from 2-3pm followed by service in their chapel at 3pm.
May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory live on in our hearts forever.
December 12, 1949 - July 31, 2023
Passed away at his home in Oshawa on Monday July 31st, 2023 at the age of 73.
Survived by his loving wife Lorraine.
Dear father of Evan and his wife Krista, Eric and his wife Samantha and Alyssa and her husband Emmet.
Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren.

August 20, 1938 - July 22, 2023
Passed away peaceful at her home on July 22, 2023 at the age of 84 surrounded by her loved ones.
Donna was born in Toronto, ON to Mildred and James Webb. Soon after her family moved to Kinmount, ON and then to Peterborough, ON. She married Nick Flamminio and they moved to Oshawa, ON where she proudly raised her five beautiful children.
She will be sorely missed by her children: Nicky (Karla), Anna (Robert), Stephen (Jackie), Cindy (Stephen)and Chris (Rose). She was the proud grandmother of Christopher, Gena, Caitlin, Emily, Colin, Katie, Kyle, Paige, Hailey, Joey, Marianna, Abigail, Allison, Joseph, Linda, and Lily. Great grandmother to Lily, Jack, Connor, Logan, Eleara, Kaleb, Oliver, Eva, Taylor, Isabella, Montgomery and Remington. She will be missed by two special people: Sue Gillis and Barb Zealand.
Donna had many passions the most important being her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with them at her beloved cottage on Balsam Lake. One of her biggest accomplishments was becoming a Registered Nurse at the age of 40. It was her dream to become a nurse at a very young age.
She decided to go back to school and had to upgrade her education starting in Grade 7. After graduating and nursing for a few years she furthered her education to become an amazing Coronary Care Nurse at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa.
She was optimistic, tenacious and always turned her adversities into great opportunities. She will be remembered for her keen sense of humor throughout her life. May she Rest In Peace.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Mount Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 21 Garrard Rd., Whitby, ON on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 3-6 pm with tributes at 4:30 pm.

He leaves behind his wife Earla for 33 years and his children Nancy, Don, and Brenda and David who predeceased him and Jonathan (Jenny), stepchildren Matthew (Sharon), Christa (Doug) and Jason.
He was born in July 1930 At Montreal, Quebec and died July 30 at Bowmanville Lakeridge Hospital in his 93rd year.
David was the adoptive son of Margaret and Dean McKinnell now predeceased.
He grew up in Montreal as an English child in a French environment. He worked a few different jobs until he joined the Air Force in September of 1951, and retired as Captain in September of 1977.
After leaving the Air Force David entered Toronto University to gain his Bachelor of Divinity. After achieving this he then served in Toronto, Saskatchewan and here at Enniskillen- Tyrone Pastoral Charge. At the time of his death he had served at least 30 or more years as an Ordained Minister.
David was a man of great courage and profound love. He overcame obstacles that many do not even try to acknowledge. He was a man of keen intelligence and a profound thinker. He was always striving to learn more about the world and life.
He has left an indelible footprint upon the world and the lives he touched upon the way.
A Celebration of David’s life will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division Street North Bowmanville on Sunday August 6th from 2 – 4 pm.

David & Frances were foster parents for years and opened their home to many children, he will be especially missed by Kayla, Tiffiny, Mark and Connie.

1934 - 2023
Dan Pugh, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at his home in Port Perry.
He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his son Daniel, his daughter Lois (Dana), his granddaughters Tara (Albertus), Melanie (Jonathon), and Samantha (Christopher), and his great-grandchildren David, Olive, and Frances.
Dan was predeceased by his beloved wife Marjorie on March 20, 2002 and he will be buried with her at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Prince Albert following a private family gathering.
June 3, 1931 - July 19, 2023
Peacefully passed away on July 19, 2023 at Streamway Villa Retirement Home in Cobourg, ON, at the age of 92.
Beloved wife of the late Morley Thompson.
Loving mother of Terry, Sheila (Julio), Jeffery, and Laurie (Brian).
Cherished grandmother of David (Mellissa), Daina (Don), Adam, Reece (Anna), Jamie, and Kristen (Matt) and great-grandmother of Owen, Kailey Ann, William, Grayson, and Wesley.
Predeceased by her parents Gilbert & Angeline (nee Gallant) Thibodeau, her siblings Mary (James) Richards, Norm (Dawna) Thibodeau, Arthur Thibodeau, Shirley (Ron) Gay, Dave Thibodeau, Carmel and Theresa, and son-in-law Harkwood. Survived by her sisters-in-law Lois and Diane.
Doris was the last of her family.
She often spoke of her family and how even though she had some difficult times, she was so grateful that she had a wonderful life, filled with love and good times.

December 17, 1922 - July 13, 2023
After a long and happy life, Doris left us at the age of 100.
She was very happily married to Les, who passed away in 2005, for 55 years.
She leaves her much loved son and daughter, Jim and Nancy, her son-in-law Dan and two dear grandchildren, Katie and Mitchell Fisher.
Doris and Les both loved the community in Uxbridge and for many years Doris was a very active member of the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the IODE.
She was a true lady and will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and beautiful spirit.
A family remembrance will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest beside Les at the Foster Memorial Cemetery.
If desired, donations of remembrance may be made to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Foundation in Dorie’s name.
June 17, 1953 - July 13, 2023
Dee passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, July 13, 2023 at the age of 70.
She is survived by her beloved partner of 50 years, Lawrence Rivet.
She will be missed by her daughters Carmel and Erin, and her granddaughter Sadie.
Dee is reunited with her loving son in heaven, Clayton. She will be lovingly remembered by her surviving brothers and sisters Niall, Cormac, Elizabeth and Elaine, her in-laws, and extended family.
Dee is remembered as a faithful catholic, school bus driver and the ‘neighbourhood mom’. As a pillar in the community, she offered a safe and welcoming space for many kids who considered her home their home away from home. Dee was a source of comfort and reassurance for the children she drove to and from school for over 24 years.
Dee believed in the power of prayer to bring comfort and healing and would offer her support and guidance whenever possible. She was positive and encouraging to everyone.
She was a loving and authoritative figure, who taught respect and responsibility. Dee’s legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched and the memories she created. Her warm smile, infectious laugh, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
