May 4, 1927 - March 22, 2017It is with deep sadness that the family of Theresa Marie Frotten announce her passing at the Bowmanville Hospital on March 22nd, 2017 in her 90th year.Theresa was the daughter of Adele LeFave and John Blanchard and was born May 4th, 1927.She was the last surviving sibling of a large family that were all born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.She had three brothers; Roger, Sony, Paul and four sisters; Lucille, Anna, Regina, Frances. Theresa married Gordon Frotten on May 30th, 1959.Together they had two sons, Steven who was born on September 7th,1960 and Clinton who was born on April 25th, 1962.In 1969 Theresa started working at the North York General Hospital and later became a supervisor in the housekeeping department.She retired early in 1985 at 58 years old and enjoyed spending many quiet hours writing letters to her family and friends. After years of enjoying retirement Theresa and Gordon moved from Thornhill to a condo in Whitby.They were within walking distance from Clinton which became a blessing for countless hours of quality visiting hours.Theresa’s beloved husband Gordon passed away in 2003 after 44 years of marriage. She remained in the condo for another 8 years with assistance from family and friends. In March of 2011 Theresa moved into the Kingsway Arms Retirement home where she lived until she was reunited with her husband Gordon.A Celebration of Life will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, (355 Taunton Road, East, Whitby) in the first week of May, date and time to be announced.

Passed away peacefully at ThorntonView, in Oshawa, on Saturday, February 4, 2017, eleven days shy of his 97th birthday surrounded by his children.Teodor was born February 15, 1920, in Potok, Rawa-Ruska, Galiz, Poland, one of 9 children.He emigrated from war-torn Europe in September, 1950, to begin a new chapter of his life in Canada.He worked in the lumber industry and on the farms in New Brunswick before making his way to Oshawa. He retired from General Motors after 33 years of service.Beloved husband for over 60 years of the late Helen Annie (nee Oattes).
