Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in his 87th year.

Beloved husband to Judith for 49 years.

Loving father to Michael (Gisela), Jennifer (Richard) and the late Timothy. Cherished Poppa to Joshua, Liam, Owen, Addison and Victoria.

Pre-deceased by his siblings, Anna and Cragg.

Gordon will be dearly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Gordon devoted his life to his faith, family, and friends and will be fondly remembered by all who loved him.

The family would like to thank the staff at Bay Ridges Long Term Care and Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering for their wonderful care of Gordon.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 2pm – 4pm at W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL (110 Dundas Street East, Whitby). A private family interment will take place at a later date.

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our hero - Robert Ronald Munshaw on Friday May 26, 2023.

Beloved husband of Janie, cherished daddy of Melanie AKA Koukla (Andy), Ryan (pre deceased), Emma and Adam.

The bestest Papa ever to Melayna AKA Puppy, Ella, Lukey and Katelyn.

Loving son of Rosalie. Cherished big brother to Michael (Nora), Corinne (John) and Teri (Leahann). Most awesome uncle to so many and number one brother in law to all.

A devoted, loyal and inspirational friend to many through a special way of making everyone feel so important and worthy of all that is good.

Bob dedicated his life to working hard and helping others with an immense passion and love of life. A larger than life personality that touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Our family requests that those attending Bob’s celebration of life add something yellow to their attire as it was Bob’s favourite colour and a true representation of who he was: walking sunshine. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home on Sunday June 4th, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday June 5th at 10:30am. Interment will follow in Whitby.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Salvation Army - Bob’s favourite charity.

Sadly, after a short battle with illness, our family announces the passing of Ralph Ronald Beer (Beersy) in his 90th year on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital.

He leaves behind his complete family and the love of his long life, Helen (Sauve) Beer.

We remember his passion and commitment to the grocery and food chains of Loblaws and E.D Smith.

We honour his love for and commitment to the community, his neighbours, and hockey, through playing, coaching, and scouting (MTHL, OHL). His family, friends and neighbours will deeply miss him.

Survived by: Wife: Helen Doreen (Sauve) Beer, his wife of 71 years, and their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Starr.

Bob passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Oak Ridges Hospice.

Bob leaves behind his beloved wife Penny of 50 years. His son Ryan (Kate) and daughter Courtney.

Bob’s two grandsons Noah and Oliver always put a smile on his face. He loved them with all his heart.

Bob will also be remembered by his brother Ted (predeceased) sisters Deb (Warren) and Jayne (Mike) his sister-in-law Bonnie and all his niece’s and nephews.

Bob will forever be in our hearts.

Died at 51 years of age on May 21, 2023, after living with Cancer for several years, thriving though the challenges and blessings life presented.

She enjoyed over 25 wonderful years with the love of her life Antonio da Eira Dias raising together and being in awe of their cherished daughter Natasha Laurinda Elizabeth Dias.

Rachell was predeceased by her father Gordon Henry Skinner and will be lovingly remembered by her mother Constance Elizabeth Skinner (Martin), mother-in-law Rosa Dias da Eira, her siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Rachell grew up in Port Hope before pursuing her education in Social Work. Rachell was passionate about helping children and families thrive and was a strong advocate for infant mental health.

Please join us on Monday May 29, 2023, at DeStefano Funeral Home in Oshawa (1289 Keith Ross Drive) 6PM– 8PM for the visitation. The Service will be held at Funeral Home on Tuesday May 30, 2023 at 1PM.
